Deb--have a great first day at your new job!
Today is my youngest sons bday. Nicholas is 4 today. I made cupcakes last night for him to take to daycare. I saved 4 for us tonight to sing him happy birthday but my parents are now coming too so I think I will try to pawn my cupcake off on my dad.

It makes me stress just to think about all that I need to get done. uggh...by the way did anyone else know it is National Stress Awareness Month in April?
I am fully aware that I am stress
Lindsay--that is a busy couple of days! I'm glad Nick had a good birthday.

I bet that was so cute to watch the kids play with the toy grill. Those are definitely the moments I miss.

And

on the weather. Good weather is coming--I promise. It has been nice here this week, and I'm sure it will eventually make it further north.
If I NEVER see another slice of turkey breast after these two weeks, it will be okay with me! This SB diet is definitely NOT something I could do long term. Just not my kind of eating. In fact, I lean much more towards a vegetarian type of diet. We eat meatless dinner at least twice a week and sometimes as often as 4 nights..... and I don't eat much meat during the day either. Mostly beans, fruits, veggies, hummus, peanut butter, some lowfat cheese.... and of course, complex carbs!
I'm anxious to see what happens with your weigh in. I thought about trying SB again last year, but realized that since I don't do meat that it would be a lot harder. I think it does a fabulous job getting you to focus on your food and really kick starts weight loss, so hopefully you will be able to kick those last couple pounds to the curb.
It's obvious I know what to do. I just need to do it. I'm ready to do it and I WILL DO IT!
Success breeds success CC. Sometimes we just need to learn not to be afraid of success. You can do it.
Good evening everyone. No run for me tonight it has been raining since 4pm today. We had a fun night with nick and my parents came down and gave him his present. He got a toy grill. He loves playing cooking so he was excited. Then him and Ryan were being waiters and taking orders and serving us. It was quite entertaining. These are the moments that I wish I could freeze in time because I know they are growing up too fast.

It was a long day and I just finished up my state taxes and now I am heading to bed.
Good night!
Loved this Lindsay! It's got to soon be time for DHs new job to start.
I was really looking forward to my WW weigh-in tomorrow but I ate too much sodium in a late dinner tonight so now I'm worried. I had a delicious dessert tonight- an apple steamed in the microwave with Taryn's delicious Pampered Chef sweet cinnamon. Yum! Then I did 2 mile WATP. Off to bed now.
Hope it goes well with your weigh in!
Dona--thanks for asking about DS. Honestly, at this point, I just want him to make it through the semester. He's had a rough time because of some bad choices. He's learned a lot of very grown-up lessons this semester and it's been rough. These are the times that I hate that he's so far away. He comes home for Easter, and I think he is looking forward to that.

I am happy to report that I ran/walked ~1.75 miles yesterday with a 2/.30 interval.

We walked before and after and went a total of 3.6. My knee was pretty sore at the end, but I came home and iced and iced and iced and it's feeling good today.

I am going to run again on Saturday. To me the most positive sign is that it feels good today. I might have to break down and have him treat the plantar-fasciitis as well. I'll give it a few more runs with the new shoes. It did not hurt during the run, but my foot is a little sore this morning.
Today is opening day for Milb--we have season tickets! So exciting! Did I tell you all that they are supposed to have g-f beer? I am really happy about that.

We are really going to have to plan to eat at home this year because there is almost nothing I can eat at the stadium--peanuts and softserve and chips are the only things I can think of. Sometimes they have roasted corn. Not a great selection. The good news is we should save a ton of money this year!
Have a great day everyone!
