Biggest Hit on Christmas Morning?

My DD(15 mos) is really too small to have 'favorites', but she likes the ABC Elmo we got her, and the VTech bouncing turtle her uncle got her.

She liked eating (chewing on) the arms & other pieces for the Mr. Potato Head we got for her, too.

DH & I kind of gave ourselves our gifts when we went shopping on Black Friday - video camera & blu ray player! (Next year we have to wrap them, lol!)

Wooot! She finally played with something else!

Little Einsteins transforming rocket is a hit! Also, the playdough is getting a workout.

Not a bit interested in the bike I was so excited to buy. That bums me a little.

DS is 3. He's all over his "tooter scooter" - I had no idea what this was, then he said something about Wow Wow Wubbzy, so I just got a Radio Flyer scooter with a honka hooter horn (well, 2 - one red, one blue). He's also having a good time with the drum set and guitar we got him.

Little guy is only 6mo, but has enjoyed playing with a bouncing rocking horse and sit to stand (he's sitting) dance tower - plays lots of music and a little bear dances.

I got Mikimoto pearls that I love (total surprise!)

DH is looking foward to his scotch once his stepfather leaves

So far everything has been wonderful. We really had such a lovely Christmas morning with the kids.

So far the faves are:
DS11 Ipod Touch & Xbox 360 & Xbox Live, Guitar Hero 5
DS9 Ipod Nano, Zero Gravity Nano car & Flix Trix
DD5 AG Bitty Twins w/ stroller, Barbie Pool, Barbie & 3 Musketeers Doll & play makeup kit
DH Craftsman Tools
Me - my KINDLE!!! Ipod Nano & beautiful stacking ring with all the kids birthstones and month we got married birthstone. GORGEOUS!!! DH did great this year!!

The Nerf guns also went over well and my DD loved her Lulu the FurReal Kitty.

DD10- laptop
DD8- Sonali (AG girl of the year's friend)
DS3- everything, he goes from one toy to the next playing. The motorized talking stuff is not as big a hit as the plain Tonka trucks, Thomas the train set, Lightning McQueen repair kit, etc. The more imagination required the more he likes it.

DH- Droid phone
Me- Droid phone, camcorder that was actually a gift for DH

Zhu Zhu pets were also a big hit. The dog is going crazy!

My DH loves his 32g ITouch but I am not sure he does not love Lego Indiana Jones 2 more! My DS5 loves his zhu zhus..he wants a real hamster and this as close as he is going to get right now. My DS10 is hard to tell, he played with spark razor for awhile and is now on the computer playing games?? As for me, I love my Keurig and my Department 56 style house for Christmas...it is a chocolate factory with motion! This was a very blessed Christmas for us!

For DD--definitely the Itouch. Cannot get her off of it.
DH-Shorts and sandals for the cruise (and the Crown Royal rye)
DS-Build A bear Wii game and bear
ME- My Jim Shore Disney collectible and Disney watch(I bought the watch and wrapped it from the cat:laughing:)
We have had a truly wonderful Christmas.
DS has gone to bed and I can finally relax........He was VERY HYPED up today. He has sensory issues(vestibular) and on days like today....it is magnified all the more....But his reactions at gift opening are priceless. I wish I could bottle his "spirit"

The Wii was a big hit...as well as the board games. We already played Bananagrams and Would You Rather.

And of course, the cold hard cash was a hit with both DS 14 and DS 10!! A couple of "Ben's" are always appreciated!

Everything! ;)

But in particular--DD9 was pleased with her newest LPS acquisitions that Santa knew to get from TRU b/c they were exclusives.

DD7 was particularly enthused that a last minute (within the past 2 weeks) gift list change requesting the Barbie Glamour Camper miraculously appeared. On that, to be honest, I didn't think I would be able to find one and hit in TRU one day and they had 4 in stock. But for a while, I kept telling her to not expect it b/c it was over $100 (I had only found them online and the prices were jacked up) and not in any stores.

DS2 loved his Thomas the Train railway set and add-ons and a remote control car from Tonka that his dad got him. It only goes forward and reverse and it flips when it bumps into things. Perfect for his age. :)

Funny note on the Zhu Zhu's--my kids loved them, but my DD9 kept telling everyone that we couldn't suck on Mr. Squiggles. When they had a news story about a claim that there was something toxic in them--some show we were watching commented that they were safe as long as you didn't suck on them and that stuck in DD9's head.:lmao:

Other things in the stash--but those were the standouts. :)

DD7's favorite gift was her new DS lite- but of course then she got her zhuzhu's. She has been playing with both pretty much all day. :goodvibes I feel like like DH and I made good choices with them. :thumbsup2

Wii--dd and dh are playing the one Santa brought to us right now.

DS and future dil ( wedding date has been set: April 20th ) played theirs all afternoon at my mom's before they had to go to her mom's tonight. (its fun to watch how much they enjoy spending time together doing stuff like that).

For dgd (6 months)--she has fell in love with a toy that has balls in it and when you push a button it has air that blows the ball up through a pipe and they either jump up and go back down the pipe or jump out on the floor playing music the whole time (I have no clue what this thing is called). She sits and watches the balls go and just giggles. When it stops, if no one pushes the button, she pulls it over and looks down the pipe looking for the balls. She is so funny to watch. Babies are such fun at this age.

Zhu Zhu pets, Batcave, and Batman pajamas with a cape. He wanted to wear them to grandma's house.:lmao:

My dd (8) has been hooked to her ipod all day. She also likes anything that her brother is playing with at the moment.

Mine was my new ipod touch!:cool1:
DH was suprised with a new gateway netbook (thanks to a tip here!):thumbsup2
DS11...civilization revolution wii game (beat out his camera and scooter!)
DS8 was his electric scooter
DD5 her new whiteboard easel, discovery kids camera and Julie AG doll
DS4 spike the dinosaur and his zhu zhu pets!

I am also so psyched, my SIL got me a gorgeous vneck tee shirt that says "mom to 4". Its very long and fitted and looks great on, and is adorable!

DS is 5. His favorite thing was a Batman sword that I got on clearance at Target for about $5. He said he had been wanting it forever. He also loved the Playdoh kitchen with molds to make different foods - that's been played with almost as much as the sword.

Touch for DS and photoworks albums for DH.

Mine was a pottery bowl DH bought me. I will post a pic later.

DS 12: His new bike, Tony Hawk Ride for Wii, Yankee jersey with the WS Champs patch

DS 10: His bike, DJ Hero for Wii, new Tech Deck ramps and boards

DD 6: iPod Touch, AG Kit and her Zhu Zhu pets...even her brothers love those!!

Toy Story Mania and Super Mario for the Wii are also huge hits!

I love my new Uggs and the gorgeous white gold and blue topaz bracelet my husband got me. Also, he got me Ed Hardy's Heart and Daggers perfume..love it! My birthday was the 23rd and he got me a Kindle for that. He gave it to me when he ordered it back in October. That is probably the best gift I have ever received!

I got him a Kuerig and he is thrilled with it! All of the other stuff I got him pales in comparison.

Merry Christmas everyone!!:santa:

We have had such a great Christmas, and everyone likes everything. I think our faves were:

ds4..Spike the Dinosaur, Imaginext pirate ship
ds6..Spike (LOVES it), Matchbox Pirate ship (9.99 special!!!)
dd9..American Girl..Julie, Ruthie and tons of accessories (I'm loving them too)
dd12..camera, Wii Fit

dh..laser garage parking gismo
Me..dd gave me her first ever, completed chapter book that she wrote. She worked so hard on that, so I can cherish that one forever:goodvibes

All of us: We finally got a Wii. I'm kind of disappointed that my kids aren't as excited about the TSM game as I am. The Wii is so much fun!
