Biggest ADR Letdown?

Via Napoli. Our pizza came out cold and rubbery. It tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile.

'Ohana last trip was a disappointment and The Boathouse was a complete waste of time, money, and meal credits this trip.

Flying Fish hands down! I so wanted to love this place since we often stay at the BWI but the night we went it was really bad all ways around. Early in the day we had asked the BWI CM to change to a 9:00 o'clock ADR and this might have been part of the problem. The place was almost empty when we arrived and our server was clearly not happy to have to stay and serve us, pretty sure we were his only table. I had just started my app. when the main course arrived and it looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. It was the signature potato wrapped snapper but the sauce had a film on it and the crust was rock hard and really difficult to eat. Within 10 minutes our sever was at my elbow again inquiring if we wanted any dessert. When we said we hadn't finished our meal yet he seemed very put out and retreated a few steps away to just stand and stare at us. I can laugh about it now but at the time it was bad. When dessert and coffee arrived at the table my coffee cup was not even half full and I asked for some more coffee. A different person brought us our check and I never received anymore coffee. By now we just wanted to leave. If we hadn't been on the deluxe dining plan we would have left before dessert. As it was it took less than an hour from arrival time to departure time and that was waiting to be seated in the nearly empty place.

I have no interest in ever returning again, and I can't say that about any other place on Disney property.

Crystal Palace lunch from our trip last year is the big loser. Food was not hot and it took forever and ever for all of the characters to come by. It was our first and last visit to CP. Tremendous disappointment!

It's funny you mention the service at Flying Fish, as it's probably the only poor experience I've ever had while dining at Disney. When we arrived we were put in the back area which looks like a circus tent right next to a very loud and quite drunk part of business people. My wife and I could barely hear each other sitting two feet away. I asked the server if we could please switch tables to the main dining room and it became this large ordeal involving the the host staff who repeatedly reminded me the "favor" they were doing me. Our new waiter was not very friendly and even slightly condescending at times, even asking me why I didn't finish my food (we were on the deluxe plan and weren't super hungry) if I said I liked it so much. The next day I called guest relations and explained the situation. The rep was pretty shocked and immediately issued us back the table credits which ended up being used at QS locations later in the trip just due to how much food you get on the deluxe plan (way too much.)

My wife and I both really enjoyed the food at Flying Fish but the service and host staff were so off-putting the only way I'd return is if a friend really wanted to go there.

BOG dinner. Food was over cooked and bland. Only the cupcakes were good. And I thought the castle seemed like a loud cafeteria.

Cinderella Royal Table. For the $$, the food should have been much better and bigger portions. The castle atmosphere was quite nice though. Definitely a once and done.

Tusker House, lunch. The lunch menu was not something we enjoyed, at all. My DS and niece hardly ate anything, and DH and I didn't find much we liked either. The characters were awesome, but from now on, we will stick to breakfast only, which we love!

For us our worst experience was at Ohana this past August. Waiting to be seated 40+ minutes past our ressie time (and we checked in early) having to ask multiple times for a fork and a juice refill, and the icing on the cake was having Pluto skip us after the parade (and our table was next), telling the handler and she could have cared less. The service was so slow it basically killed our whole morning - NEVER AGAIN! Which is a shame since I dearly love stitch

50's Prime time cafe was a big disappointment .. Our waiter was NOT into it AT ALL!! We were so excited for it ... The best part was the atmosphere ..the food and service did not meet our expectations

Hands down Raglan Rd. The food was ok however the service was horrible. Took forever to get out of that restaurant
. I knew going in it would be loud. We had a band and in between the dancers. That part was fun thank goodness as it helped with the Long long waits. I think we were sitting there for around 2.5 hours.

Raglan Road for sure! My fiance George and I went there over Christmas 2014 and we both thought our meals had zero flavor. George got the Kevin's Heavenly Ham and it was the blandest "bacon" loin ever, not even salty! And my Serious Steak was just as bad. The only thing we enjoyed was the bread pudding for dessert, but it wasn't good enough to make us try it again. Not to mention we were seated just inside the door on a pretty cold night for Florida and they wouldn't close the door so we were quite cold all meal too.

Be Our Guest at dinner was our biggest let down. We had to wait forever to be seated, the food was not very good, and the waiter was very impatient with us. It was so hard to get that reservation, too.

Be Our Guest. Dinner the first time was great. The second time, half the party wasn't thrilled with their meals. The first time we had lunch, awesome. The second time we had lunch, food was lukewarm and overall just seemed like quality had gone down.

Stinks that it's so inconsistent but we'll be trying other places for now.

Oh, and Raglan Road. Service was awfully slow (2 hours for a meal with no apps, just entrees and a dessert that we all shared), Schnitzel was not good at all, and my mom had 1 measley piece of fish with her fish and chips. 2 members of our party liked it, 2 of us didn't care for it. I'd like to give it a second chance.

HDD.... food was nasty when we went a number of years ago. hopefully it has improved

BOG dinner hands down. I LOVE BOG..lunch. but should've listened to the bad reviews on dinner. wasn't worth the money.

Yes. We had a bad dinner there. Cold, unappetizing food, waiter who never refilled our drinks even after being asked and was never around, characters that were very slow to come to our table and a handler who was rude about it when we asked if we could see Tigger because we were leaving (he studied our receipt as though he thought we had forged it). Part of it was unfortunate seating. We were at the end table in our side of the restaurant which is right next to the beginning table so it was really hard for the kids to see the characters heading our way and go to the table right next to ours and then not be allowed to talk to them for another 40 mins. And meanwhile the adults really wanted to just get out of there.

Sadly, my son LOVED the characters there. They were the only ones he did love. So back we go. :worried: Hoping for better this time.

Reading through this thread has forced me to change my ADR at Chef Mickey's to Whispering Canyon. We'll just meet Mickey Mouse at the park. I can't justify $50 per person with horrible food just to see the characters. Plus our entire party is adults anyway, so they probably wouldn't stay at our table very long.
