Biggest ADR Letdown?

Yes. We had a bad dinner there. Cold, unappetizing food, waiter who never refilled our drinks even after being asked and was never around, characters that were very slow to come to our table and a handler who was rude about it when we asked if we could see Tigger because we were leaving (he studied our receipt as though he thought we had forged it). Part of it was unfortunate seating. We were at the end table in our side of the restaurant which is right next to the beginning table so it was really hard for the kids to see the characters heading our way and go to the table right next to ours and then not be allowed to talk to them for another 40 mins. And meanwhile the adults really wanted to just get out of there.

Sadly, my son LOVED the characters there. They were the only ones he did love. So back we go. :worried: Hoping for better this time.

That sounds exactly like our story. It was also Tigger we had to wait so incredibly long for. Our kids even told us we could skip this restaurant if we ever go back to WDW...which we are this April but they don't know yet. :)

sci-fi dine in theater - it was in a word GROSS. The hamburger was tasteless, the fries soggy. It seriously reminded me of a grade school lunch hamburger.

Our biggest let down was the Sci Fi breakfast. We're glad we did it once for the experience, but don't need to go back.

Ohana Breakfast. No signature food that made it different, the food itself was ok but just the basics and some bread. I'd eat at TH or CP breakfast before Ohana again.

BOG breakfast! I had already had dinner there which I liked a lot, so the wonder of seeing the inside was gone. And the food tasted terrible and was incredibly expensive for us as we weren't on a dining plan.

My worst let down was probably Japan's Teppanyaki grill years ago. It was my first Teppanyaki experience, and I was looking forward to it so much! I went with my husband and inlaws. I remember thinking the food was very bland. Then about 45 minutes after eating ALL of us got really ill. We went back to our rooms and all of us were sick all night long. Sadly, that put me off Teppanyaki for years, and it wasn't until recently that I tried it again, and I really enjoy it now.

Other let downs at WDW:
Le Cellier: Minor let down. I went in 2006 before it really got insanely expensive, but I remember being not super wowed by the experience and liking the pretzel bread sticks more than the steak I ordered. The cheese soup was good but not the best I have had.
Akerhaus: Not a fan of the cuisine. I am sure it was prepared well, just not enough stuff that I liked.
Sci-fi Dine in Theater: I love everything Sci-fi, love the theming, but this restaurant was just really bad. I tried it twice but won't likely go again. If I did it would just be for milkshakes and ice cream.
Pizza Planet: Worse than Ellio's pizza. Dreadful.
BOG: Definitely hugely overrated. I also didn't like the fact that they would not attempt to get my son (ASD with sensory issues around food) anything that wasn't on the menu. I jsut hated that restaurant policy. I am constantly trying to get my son to try other foods besides his favorites, but on vacation I don't want to be stressed about it.
Via Napoli: Honestly, I don't get the hype for this place. The pizza was just okay. I can get pizza at home that is loads better.

Our last trip 1900 park faire breakfast was disappointing and so was 50s. But CM was good despite it being awful the trip before, the characters were great with my 1 yr old. It seems like a lot of restaurants have their highs and lows. But I will say I think le cellier is overhyped and overpriced.
