big ones to hit....on first day

got a 5 yr. and 10 yr. old..arrive on Thurs. and want to do all the fav's before the weekend crowd..i know what to hit at Disney but not over here.. where to start...need biggies in order..someone suggested spiderman first ..sound right?......we have the 5 day pass so we will do the slow stuff later (shows)..thanks

You'll see everything with that much time.
The 5 year old probably won't make the height requirements for the major fun rides, like Hulk, and Deuling Dragons. If your spouse is going, you may want to split up at certain times. The 5 year old will enjoy Suess Landing and the playgrounds. The 10 year old will like the coasters. Take a lap together at IOA, set up a meeting place, then go your seperate ways so everyone can be happy with their favorites.
When you first walk into IOA, you'd head left to Hulk.
For a smaller kid, you'd head right to Suess Landing and ride One Fish Two Fish because that ride has a long wait later.
On another day, you head left and go to Pternandon Flyers, because that ride also has a long wait later in the day.

Even with the age difference, your children might enjoy some of the same attactions. In IOA, you could go to Suess Landing and ride "The Cat in the Hat." That is just to the right after the port of entry. Marvel Comics is to the left. You'll see "The Hulk," as you enter. My 9 year old was tall enough last year, but decided he would wait until he was 12 to ride it. Before we left that week, he had raised the age to 16. It's pretty intimidating. Both of my DSs have enjoyed "Spiderman" since they were 4 and 6. If you just want a taste the first day, you could end there and walk through City Walk to US and ride "Jimmy Neutron" and "Shrek."
