Big Brother 6 Spoiler Thread

Howie was great tonight.

Kasar was glaring at Jen, and you could see the muscles in his face twitching like he was ready to snap!! Wow!!

Janelle could do better then Michael. I would have liked to see her with Kay or Howie.

It was so sweet, James and Sarah hugging. :lovestruc

I cannot stand Jen.

Rachael did good tonight. Boy, did she have a mad-on for Ivette!! That'll teach her to give nasty goodbye messages! Might have cost her the win, making the rude comments to Rachael in her goodbye!

James was funny tonight too.

If you had to pick 3 from this season for all-stars, who would it be?
I vote-Janelle, James and Howie.

Well, now that BB is over, lets see if we can get this thread closed too!! :rotfl:

Did anyone else hear ivette after they went to hug there family say I am so sorry over and over again to her parents? I felt kinda bad for her. Did she ever say what her parents needed the money for?

I did hear her dad say "I am so proud of you" So that was good to hear.

I heard she needed the money to pay off her mothers gambling debts.

I agree with you :)

Ivette looked really upset. Her nasty good-bye treatment of Rachel cost her the game.
I loved how the audience cheered when Janelle, Howie and Kaysar came onstage.
I would love to see Michael beat the crap out of Eric. But I'm glad to hear Michael has received a lot of positive feedback despite the fact Cappy and the Friendship totally slandered him.
Either way, I don't care who won. I don't think the rest of the BB fans do either considering the smattering of applause Maggie got.

A few things I LOVED about the finale....

The FIENDship finally realized how they looked to "America".

Howie (I LOVE you MAN) sticking it to them by calling them "America's WORST"

Sarah and James hug... awwwwww

The obvious difference in the applause for the two groups.

Even though I'm not a Maggie fan, I'm glad she won over Ivette. She DID play a better game and Ivette needed to realize the mistake she made by bringing her to the final two.

Eric was VERY humble last night, I guess being out in the real world gave him a true prospective on how the world thought of him and his group. I cannot wait for the rest of them to get the clue.

Except when he tried to say Kaysar did the same thing to him and the audience just shut him down. You could tell he was PO'd. :rotfl:

I loved it when Howie told Maggie and Ivette, "don't hate the players hate the game" after he called them America's last choice. I guess he didn't forget his goodbye message from Ivette either.

I honestly don't know who I would have voted for if I was on the jury. I really didn't like Maggie, but Ivette said and did so many hateful things that I'd have a hard time giving the money to her.

I also loved Howie's comeback "it was scripted for television." :rotfl:

I was glad to see Maggie win over Ivette, even though I wasn't thrilled with either one, but I do believe Ivette would have lost if she brought Janelle to the final too. The NH would have voted for Janelle out of spite, because that's just the way they are. They never would have seen it as a great move and Ivette even said that to Janelle, that her friends would have seen that as backstabbing and would not have voted for her. So, either way Ivette was screwed. The only way Ivette would have won, is if Janelle had won HOH and took her to the Final 2. I think that is where Ivette's mistake was, she should have thrown the final HOH. She knew Janelle was going to take her. Well, enough with that, I can't wait to see what's in store for Howie, Kaysar and Janelle. They should be able to make their 15 minutes last a while :)

See you guys on the Lost thread. Just 12 more hours

I'm not sure I thought he was humble.

Julie reveals that Kaysar was returned to the house with 82% of the vote. Kaysar to Jennifer about her betrayal: “Jennifer, next time think for yourself.” Jennifer says she did think for herself and then Eric intervenes and says she absolutely did. Eric wonders why such a big deal was made about Jennifer swearing on her life when Kaysar did too. Eric: The “same medicine doesn't taste the same.”

As an earlier poster said, it's kind of a different scenario. Eric didn't hand over the HOH with a promise of safety. Eric had already broken the 'guy' alliance. In fact, that 'guy' alliance was made before the secret partners were revealed, so it had to be an alliance that Eric created knowing it would eventually be broken. I feel like he STARTED the game playing shady.

Anyhooooo

I've really enjoyed reading our many threads, and jumping in now and then. I don't know what to do with myself now. What will DH and I talk about now? Now we just have the kids, our marriage, and life to discuss. No strategy, no Jedi Council, no hair extensions. Nine more months until BB7 :rolleyes1

Anyone see the Early Show this morning? I'm wondering what was said and if they had Ivette on as well.

TIA!

They haven't shown it yet (at least not in central time).

The Early Show is already over here (FL) I keep forgetting there's people from everywhere on the boards :sunny:

Would you let me know how it goes? Couldn't watch here at work and forgot to set the TiVO :earseek:

Hi all! I'm back from WDW!! :)
well...really... :guilty: but I'll deal. (It's cooler here anyway! Man it was HOT down there!) hehehe...too many pages to go back and read - so I'll just jump in here.

So I watched my Tivo'd episode from Friday and the finale last night.

janelle was so right...Ivette made a 450,000 mistake last night. dummy. If Ivette had taken Janie...that would have put maggie on the jury - giving ivette the money. dumb dumb dumb.

Jen - you are a WITCH...words cannot describe the disgust I hold for you.

Maggie was the lesser of the 2 evils...I guess.

Ok - Ivette hugging "Crappy" like her life depending on it - BEFORE Beau? witch.

now i gotta catch up on Survivor from last week...and watch America's next top model starting tonight...and...dang...think I need to hit best buy and get another Tivo this weekend! hehehe

Julie asked Maggie what her plans were for the money. Maggie said she's been told she needs a makeover (by Beau, lol) and will use some of the money for that and has a lot of gifts to buy.

Ivette's not smiling much. Julie told her that her face dropped when she found out Maggie won. Ivette seems a little bitter this morning.

Ivette said she's sorry she was part of the Friendship now. She never liked the name friendship and doesn't have a high opinion of some of the people in that group anymore, but wouldn't name names. This opinion is based on things Tush told her.

Julie asked Maggie about being the mastermind behind the group (as James said) and not making decisions for the group, but decisions that would help advance her in the game. Maggie said she made decisions that benefitted everyone in the group and saw them all as equal leaders, did not see herself as the leader.

Julie asked Ivette if that was true, Ivette said she thought she (Ivette) made decisions that would benefit everyone in the friendship. Julie said what about Maggie? Ivette really hesitated and then said she did think Maggie made decisions to help the group.

Ivette also said Janelle's plan wouldn't have worked, Ivette wouldn't have won anyway.

Thats all I can remember and it's kind of out of order. I was typing as they were talking.

Thanks for that Bengabelle. I was hanging out here on the DIS and forgot to watch!

Janelle's plan WOULD have worked if she let Janelle be the one to bring her to the final two. She wouldn't have gone back on her girls scouts (that any of them would have known at that time)

ITA! :teeth:

I only wished we could have seen Maggie and Ivette realize that America as a whole did not love the friendship! Fun to watch Jen and April realize this! I think the show realized they needed to give us viewers something since the "winner" was not what we wanted. And Julie asked the right questions and they showed the right footage to make watching last night worthwhile. :p

thanks bengabelle for sharing!

They REALLY need to do like a 1 hour reunion and re-hash all this stuff! I wanna see Kaysar and Jenn get down and dirty! heheh

And I would love to see Ivette defend herself after THAT comment. I wonder what Tush told her?

I wish they would have let the live audience ask questions-that would have been funny to watch the NH squirm!!

I don't think it has to do with tuning in mid season because I watched from the beginning and I agree with you. It seems to be the people who watched the live feeds that see things differently, and it seems like (from what I've gathered on here) it basically comes down to you either liking people being mean behind closed doors vs. people being mean to peoples' faces.
That is just totally NOT what it is, at least for me anyway. I don't like the Sovereign alliance because they were mean to the Friendsheep's faces, I like them because they PLAYED the game. Every single one of those in the supposed Friendsheep did not think for themselves. They thought whatever Maggie wanted them to think. And that's the honest truth! In any situation they were faced with...who was the voice of reason? Maggie. Every time. The people in the Sovereign alliance thought for themselves, even if it was as a group. They talked about what to do in the situations they were faced with and not everyone agreed all the time. They would go into the HOH/nomination ceremony/eviction with their own opinions as to who should win/be put up/be evicted. They may have played a little dirty, but that's why I watch the show. I didn't care for the first season of BB for the most part because they were all such "friends" by the end. No one wanted to PLAY the game. I like the Sovereign because they PLAYED and didn't FOLLOW. Big difference in my opinion! The Friendsheep played just as dirty, they just wouldn't do it to your face. With the Sovereign, what you see is what you get...and that's what made it so much fun to watch!

As for the part with April, I agree that she shouldn't have said what she said, but I think she could have explained it a lot better by saying that she didn't understand why America would pick someone to get a phone call from someone they had known for 2 weeks over someone who wanted to speak to their family, and that she didn't understand why Janelle would have chosen Michael of all people.
Please remember that Janelle gave them SEVERAL names that she wouldn't mind hearing from. From what I remember, she had said Michael, her mom, or her grandma. I'm not sure where/when I saw that, but I KNOW that I did. (I think she said so in a DR confession) And as Michael had said last week, they met under VERY different circumstances. They were with each other 24/7...lots of time to get to know each other as best as they can...Under normal circumstances, no...I wouldn't want to hear from someone who I had only known for 2 weeks, but I also can't say that I blame her. She LIKES him...he LIKES her...and maybe she's not all that close to her family anyway. These people don't know what her family situation is like outside the house. If she truly did give her mom, grandma, and Michael as people she'd love to hear from, maybe BB decided that a call from Michael would cause the most upheaval in the house anyway...I hate the fact that people judged her so harshly because she got that call from Michael.

Last night's show was brilliant. Howie cracked me up!! He so honest...lol. And I love how it was beginning to dawn on the Friendsheep that they aren't America's sweethearts. Eric and his sour grapes...The medicine doesn't taste the same cuz it was DIFFERENT medicine...lol. Ivette looked like she lost half a million...Of the two at the end, Maggie did play the game better, but she wasn't the BEST player this season. I think that honor goes between James and Janelle. I will miss about half of this cast...the other half...well, not so much...lol...and if never again see the over dramatic eye-rolling by Jennifer, if will be too soon! I did notice that the Sovereign alliance was "happier" to see each other than the Friendsheep were!

After the interview this morning...Ivette's finally seen the light. I'm sorry that it took her so long...Maggie...I still don't like her much...lol. A dictator never thinks they are the dictator...lol. :rotfl:

I'm sad that this season is over! It was way more fun than previous seasons! I used to think that I couldn't possibly dislike anyone playing this game more than Alison/Jun and Scott/Jase...boy was I wrong!! I know that I didn't post much in the threads, but I lurked a lot!! You guys made it so enjoyable!! I love the debate banter back and forth over the alliances! Here's to next year and BB7!!

CBS is saying that on Housecalls today it will be Maggie, Ivette, Janelle, and James (not the entire cast) but it still should be interesting, especially since it sounds like Ivette is now not too please with the "friendship"!
