Big Brother 6 Spoiler Thread

Off topic, but I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed reading and participating in this thread! :goodvibes It is really the first one I have gotten into here on the DIS, although I "lurk" a lot.

It was a great BB season, can't wait for the next one, especially now that I have found such great fans on DIS.

I am sure I will see ya'll on the Survivor thread! :wave2:

I feel the same way. It's the first time I've gotten to be a "regular" on a thread! It was so much fun! :goodvibes

I see...

I tuned in midseason and actually liked the nerd herd...but mostly b/c all I saw was the other side being so mean and nasty.

Missed all the recipricol stuff early on, I guess.

I still don't understand at all why Kaysar is so--idolized. No offense to those that like him....just not seeing the charm (again--tuned in late in the season!).

I don't think it has to do with tuning in mid season because I watched from the beginning and I agree with you. It seems to be the people who watched the live feeds that see things differently, and it seems like (from what I've gathered on here) it basically comes down to you either liking people being mean behind closed doors vs. people being mean to peoples' faces.

As for the part with April, I agree that she shouldn't have said what she said, but I think she could have explained it a lot better by saying that she didn't understand why America would pick someone to get a phone call from someone they had known for 2 weeks over someone who wanted to speak to their family, and that she didn't understand why Janelle would have chosen Michael of all people.

I'll be on the Lost thread and Desperate Housewives if there is one...I'd love to have an Alias one too!

I can't wait to see a BB7 thread next year and see who I recognize from this year!

I have a question for all of you "Lost" fans, I have not yet watched the show, with two little ones I have a limited amount of time to watch tv. But I have heard such great things about the show. Would I be able to start watching this season, or would I be completely lost? (no pun intended :rotfl: )

I'll be on these threads: Lost (mostly the spoiler thread), The Apprentice, Survivor, AR and AI (even though it doesn't compare to Rockstar). Love Desperate Housewives but never spent time on that thread...I'll have to check it out.

You'll probably be a little lost. There's a lot to keep up with on the show, but it is awesome! Can you rent the DVD's and catch up?

Run quickly to Best Buy, buy season 1 on DVD, hire a babysitter and start watching! :rotfl:

I think you really need to watch season 1 to fully appreciate the second season.

Let's see, I have to explain to my husband that I need to go buy a DVD and hire a babysitter, and he needs to get lost also! Never mind, that I am still trying to explain why I had the BB live feeds for two months after my 3-day "free trial"! :rotfl:

Seriously, though, that does sound like a good idea, this season has already started though, right? Have they had one or two shows so far?

I just realized your location. Are you planning to evacuate?

Great, so then I can TIVO, and rent/buy the DVD this weekend and watch! How many hours is that DVD???

It starts tomorrow night - you have plenty of time to hunker down for a marathon tv session! :rotfl2: I would at least watch the first, second and last episode of season 1 prior to watching season 2. You can always tape tomorrow night's show and watch it after you've had time to catch up. It's really worth it...LOST is the best TV I've watched in years.

I think there were 24 episodes and it's on for an hour. Tomorrow night they're having a catch up episode you might find helpful.

Not quite sure yet, I am on the NW side of Houston, storm surge will not be a problem, flooding and wind probably will be (nothing like you had in LA, I hope). We will probably decide tomorrow, when they are a little more sure of where it is heading, all of my family is in Dallas, so I am lucky that I have a place to go to. Thanks for asking! :goodvibes

Either way I will still rent/buy the DVD for Lost, if I do have to evacuate and go to Dallas, that will be my excuse not to deal with my mother! :rotfl: (Sad, but true at 34 years old!)

Whatever you decide, take care :grouphug: and I'll be watching for you on the Lost threads :goodvibes
