Has anyone eaten there for both lunch and dinner? Which do you prefer. I know dinner has a couple of extra hot items but 90% of the list of foods seems to be the same.

We ate there once for dinner and are looking to go for lunch. DS is now 11 and really doesn't eat enough to warrant the prices that the buffets charge for dinner. Lunch is a little more reasonable in some place.

We aren't planning on doing any other buffets other then this one due to the prices for anyone age 10 and older. We aren't on the dining plan but have the TIW card.

TIA

We always have lunch there. Dinner is similar but I prefer lunch.

is the inclusion of some carved meats and sauerbraten at dinner and not lunch. I can do without the carved meats but I do like sauerbraten. It's not worth the $9.00 difference in my opinion. There's plenty of food I like at lunch.

We ate dinner once and now always eat lunch. Even DH who is a big meateater says that it is not worth paying extra for dinner. They still have a variety of meats like chicken, pork roast, etc. We didn't feel like we were lacking at all. Debby

We have always eaten lunch and there has always been more than enough variety. It is a great place to eat. You will not be disappointed!

We have always eaten dinner there - OMG it's so yummy. I think I'm hungry now.

We prefer the lunch there too after having eaten dinner. Just a few dish differences but not enough to really notice. The band plays for both meals. Here's their current schedule from http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/index.htm

Experience the excitement of Oktoberfest with a festive dinner show in the Biergarten.
Daily at 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, 4:45, 5:55, 7:00 & 8:05pm
Length of show: 25 minutes

Another thing is that eating at the Biergarten can be a pretty "heavy" meal (if you do it right! Ha!) Eating that much late at night can be painful so going for lunch gives the rest of the day to walk it off, so to speak, and then get a light CS dinner later in the evening. :)

If we are paying OOP we do lunch, if we're on the dining plan we'll do either depending on our other plans. There is something to be said for going during the day so you get the full effect of the outdoor/indoor nighttime setting inside the restaurant.
