Where did you get your faces painted? Was it at WDW? You both look absolutely fab :flower3:

OOOooo-ya! Those are such cute pics!! I love the face painting-gorgeous!!!
Your princess: is such a cutie!!
We did get a little carried away with the photos, but we just figured out how to post them!! :woohoo: Plus, when you have kids as cute as ours, its hard not to share, right?!

Thank you so much, I know I love posting pics especailly the ones that I really like or am really proud of. Or ones like your ds w/ his boogie.

The face painting is in all of the parks it is 15 dollars each dd has the cinderella face painting and I have the tinkerbell face painting. We had ours done in Epcot in world showcase in the little market place right past China it is right by the refreshment port. Epcot, MGM, and MK all have the same choices w/ one or two differences but AK has animal themed choices.

This is a pic of my dd from ak.

The seats we had for HM were almost directly center of the front of the run way on her stage and the fourth row from it. They were awesome and to be honest the only thing right now that is keeping us from going to the 3D show is that we are leaving in the morning to go to disney for her cheerleader competion and since we have off for mardi gras we are staying till the 7th and starting on the eighth we have weekend of dance competition.

Ooh will have to get my DD's done next time thanks for that :)
Gotta love all pics of children looking scrumptious and having the best time

Hahaha-you gotta love those crazy kid pics! Not just the ones where they are perfectly posed, but the ones where they are being themselves...or nasty nose pics!!!
And, we may not be going anywhere this weekend-HM movie or not...we are covered in snow! I DO NOT drive to the city on icy roads by myself!! I know, I'm a wussie..
Maybe after our snow melts it will be less crowded!! :woohoo:

Gosh-you girls sound like you're busy!!! My DD doesn't do competitive dance, but she just found out last nite that she will be dancing in Coppelia for hr Spring performance! She spent the whole evening dancing across the wood floors in our living room!!

OK, y'all suckered me in - I just made a BBB rez for DD7 for May! I wasn't planning on it, in fact she isn't even that excited to go to the princess lunch in Epcot this year. All of a sudden, she has become the biggest tomboy (we just moved 3 months ago and her friends here are sooo much more tomboyish than before!). I hate it! So since she still loves having her nails painted, and putting on makeup, I figured I'd better enjoy it while I can! Wasn't planning on spending that much for hair and makeup, but DH's parents are taking the whole family on this trip, so I figured why not? Question, has anyone seen a really nice Ariel costume? DD told me that if she has to dress up, she'll be Ariel, but those customes look so cheap! She has been Minnie, Cinderella, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, so I guess it's only natural to end us as Ariel, huh?

Hey honey!
After our "Potter" conversation last nite I found this pic that I thought you girls might enjoy!
This is my kiddos at the "Haunted Castle" close to our hometown at Halloween! DD is obviously Hermoine, and DS is a storm trooper! Needless to say, the Jedi Training at MGM is high on his list for our trip!!

Oh hon they both look so so fab .. my DD wanted to be Hermione tomorrow for book week but couldn't find all that we needed so next yr!! Loving the stormtrooper look too :thumbsup2

Hello! Welcome to our craziness! don't these girls grow up too fast?! i still think even the biggest tomboys are a little princess: at heart!
What about Tinkerbell? She's sassy-but not too girly! That is what my DD chose for our trip! If she is set on Ariel, tho, there are some not so tacky costumes on ebay express, where I found our Tink costume!

aww, we love Hermoine! My kids are so brave, they can watch even the scariest parts of the movies without getting freaked out! The only thing that bothers Joe are the dementors..:scared:
We found her fab Gryffindor garb online...it is really gorgeous-the tie is even silk like a real one! She felt soooo sassy!!
Yeah, that stormtrooper look is what's keeping DD out the BBB for our trip! he is saving $$ for a build your lightsaber in DTD, plus some new Star Wars guys!
He has agreed to leave the stormtrooper off for the pirate: princess: party (IF! we get to go) as I bought him a Capt.Jack outfit!

Any luck with the costume yet? I mentioned on a post before your DD could be Tink, but if her heart is set on Ariel maybe you could suggest the wedding dress version instead of "fins"? My DD is now very into HSM and HM, but after I showed her some of the costumes online, she got very excited! Like I said, we purchased her costumes on Ebay express for a bday surprise & they are gorgeous! Especially her Tinkerbell dress!:goodvibes
I even found some light up Tink wings on disneystore.com-thanks to a suggestion from a fellow DISer!!

No luck yet with the costume. We're not going until May - well, actually I just booked us for a weekend 2/9-3/2 for the P&PP (we only live 2 hrs from WDW). I haven't told the family yet! Yikes! But I don't need the costume until May. Problem with Ariel is that there are so many different styles, and as the risk of sounding "snooty" I want the best one! Like I said, this may be my last princess Disney trip. :sad2: I also like the idea of Tink and I'll suggest that to her.

I am sooooo excited at BBB though - I told DH this morning that I booked it but he wasn't real happy I don't think. He just doesn't get that kind of stuff. I took DD with me for her 6th bday and we both had manis and pedis and she had a ball!!!! So I think she'll enjoy this. Plus, I like the idea of being in MK when nobody else is and getting that great family shot in front of the castle with nobody else around!!!!!!

Also, where did you get the face painting done? I'd love to do that later this month! Won't be so hot it melts off!

Hi if you look further down the thread .. You'll see that Mandy sys where and how much ... sorry i couldn't get it to quote just that bit xx

I know-the difference in the price is TOOO much! For that price I can get her two dresses & accessories! Plus have money left over! And the photos will be on the photopass cd that I'm getting.
BTW-I am sooo hoping that they add the 16th for the pirate: princess: ! Our plan is to go that nite too-let's both hope they add it!! How old are your kiddos? My princess: is 7, and my pirate: is 4 and they are counting the days on a mickey calendar on the fridge!!!

I am another one hoping for P & PP on the 16th :) I have also booked my 3yo daughter into BBB for April 7th-cannot wait!

Gosh-don't you hope they add the 16th?!! Every "unofficial" site says they are to add the dates in April any minute, but I check EVERY day and no luck yet....:headache: I am not giving up hope, though!! The CM on the phone at Disney said to check back the first part of Feb, so maybe we are getting close...I have my DD appt at BBB for April 16th so if we get lucky with the party it will perfect! Maybe if enough of us give off :goodvibes it will help!!
