Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique as as Adult?

Per the disneyland website: Guests must be at least 3 to 12 years of age.

I don't believe they allow adults.. regardless of what The Big Bang Theory might lead people to believe. ;)

I just read somewhere online, yesterday, that it's up to 12 yrs old. It was on the official Disneyland website, now I can't find it, though.

I did:rotfl2: It was 2008 and at WDW so the "rules" may be different at DL. It was a blast.

My DD who was 13 at the time had spent the first half of our trip sick with the flu and didn't leave the hotel so this was her first outing. I did it with her to give her something to laugh at. We even saved the hair pieces for the Pirate and Princess Party a few nights later.

At WDW they had a studio up where there was a photopass photog and you could have your own "princess" photo shoot at no cost, you just paid for the pics or add it to your pre-ordered cd. We look horrible with the bright gaudy makeup but I cherish those pics because of the moment it represents. In fact there is a framed 10x13 (i think) hanging in the family room:rotfl:

You can get a "Disneyfied" makeover at the DLH or DGC spa salons. Just let them know you'd like a little pixie dust added to your makeup, and they'll do the rest!

I don't know about DL, but at WDW they have a barber shop. For 15 bucks, I went in the slicked my hair up with colored gel (I have very little hair) and doused me with Mickey confetti. That was an awesome experience, so if they have that at DL, I'd recommend that!

They did allow adults to go. But as it's been said, the policy has changed last year.

My friend did it as an adult. And her BF did the Pirates League. This was at WDW, about 18 months ago.

They are young and in love, and were having fun. She did not buy a dress though, I think she brought one.

It is such a shame that they no longer allow adults to do this. I did it before heading for Mickey's Halloween Party in 2011 and had a blast.

No Barber Shop at DLR that does that. Sorry.

Make the appointment anyway just say your 12 when you show up just say your a big 12 year old.they don't check for proof of age they have go by what you tell them. They have adult sized tee shirts so they no reason to refuse someone over 12 who wants to this.if you want to this then do it.

Haha I should totally do this! They never had BBB when I was a kid. I'd love to get dolled up and feel like a princess for a day! How awesome would that be :-)

Well people already mistake me for 15, what's 3 more years?? Rotfl. I really just want some pixie dust in my hair & I've seen some teenagers with that.

You could just go in and ask them to do that. Often times, they are out in the mornings sprinkling people (usually little girls, though) in Fantasyland. Or maybe check out Disney 365? I don't know if they have an age limit, but my daughters have done makeovers there and it was great (and cheaper)!

Sorry to be Debbie Downer, but I really hope you all are not planning on making a BBB reservation, and then lying about a so-called child's age so that an adult could possibly get a makeover. Do you honestly think they will still do a makeover when an adult shows up for a reservation intended for a child? I do not think it is fair to put a CM in that position.
They used to do adult makeovers a few years back, but I am sure they had a good reason for discontinuing them.

I did a few years back and while it was fun, I don't think I would do it again even if it was still available. The main reason was that it was quite expensive and I just did the most basic package. The makeup was very fun with the little stickers they put at the corner of your eyes. I wish that the hair styles had a little more variety. I had them do the hairstyle with the added hair extension and they pulled my hair back into the tightest bun possible before they added the extension. I ended up having a headache afterward because they pulled my hair back so tightly. :scared1: They also shellacked it to within an inch of its life. I remember having to wash my hair twice over just to get the gel and hairspray out. I loved that it was glittery though! The only thing that would entice me to go back if it allowed adults again would be that they offered adult sized costumes to get dressed up and do the photo package as well. :cool1:

My girls loved Studio 365 in Downtown Disney. They loved the hair and makeup etc. There are clothes you can purchase but no pressure to do so. They do adults too.
