Coming for a short trip in early December. Currently the plan is:

The party is myself, DBF, DD and DGS(7) and we are currently staying at AoA or Swan. I got a decent rate at the Swan and love the location but I really think the 2 bathrooms will be the winner for this trip so it will probably end up being Cars Suite at AoA, or maybe 2 rooms at Pop. Dunno that either. lol

Option 1 - Jollywood Nights

Saturday (land at 10:15)- hang out at pool, nap, Boardwalk for dinner, then head to HS for Jollywood nights at 6PM.
Sunday - sleep in, pool time, relax, then head to MK for MVMCP.
Monday - get up not too late, head to EPCOT, back to resort and off to airport at 6PM for an 8:43 flight.

Pros:
  • We are getting up super early Saturday and may want to rest before heading to parks.
  • I haven't been to the Boardwalk in years so it might be nice to try something new.
  • Fantasmic.
Cons:
  • Not a lot of time in Epcot but we can hit our faves.

Option 2 - Skip Jollywood Nights.

Saturday (land at 10:15)- go to Epcot.
Sunday - sleep in, pool time/relax, then head to MK for MVMCP.
Monday - get up not too late, head to HS, back to resort and off to airport at 6PM for an 8:43 flight.

Pros:
  • A full afternoon/evening in Epcot.
Cons:
  • No Fantasmic.
  • Long day Saturday.
It's not like we won't be back so not sure why I'm stressing on the right thing to do for this quick trip.

My concern with option 1 would be a 7 yo and 2 late nights in a row. Probably dependent on the child, mine didn't do very well with even one late night at MVMCP at that age. As an adult, I'm doing a similar scenario - flying in early on a Monday, doing Epcot that day, then MVMCP on Tuesday and Jollywood on Wednesday.
