We just had our waitlist come through for a last minute trip next month, so we'll be staying for the 1st time in a BWV 1 bedroom preferred view.
I don't care how long the walk is to the room, but I would really love a decent view, preferably a water or garden view that doesn't look at the clown pool. (Sorry, but I really don't like the giant clown...)
Does anyone have any suggestions of particularly decent to good areas or rooms to request, and/or how best to request such a thing?

Maybe you'll get the Boardwalk view for your next trip.

either.
If the waitlist for Boardwalk view does not work out for you, then you'd best request either a view of the quiet pool or the croquet lawn. Otherwise, Murphy's Law dictates that you get a room directly facing the CLOWN. And then you'll have to stay off the balcony and keep the drapes closed!

. Oh well, we all have our fears. Whether we admit them or not is a different story. Thanks for the advice. I've considered dropping to a standard room if we don't get BW view. Then I could add on two nights.
