Better Pool - CBR or POR??

Wondering which pool would be the better choice for 2 dd's, 12 and 15?? We plan to spend a good 2 or 3 days just lounging at the pool area this year. Thanks!!

The POR pool was large and kinda has two sections.

The area that the kids hang in the most has the slide (a slide that is a nice length and fine for adults. Our small kids were bored with CBR. Then the pool goes under a bridge and curves around towards the hot tub and bar area and the older kids and adults seemed to like it here. Had a waterfall and water deeper.

The atmosphere is very lush with plants and makes it more relaxing and private to us. The CBR was very open and when we went (Oct) it was crowded.

Even though POR theme pool is on an island you only walk over a bridge and you are at the food court so very convenient as well.

We also enjoyed the quiet pools by our room, especially when we stayed in Allligator Bayou side of resort.

Our family enjoyed the pool at POR for all the same reasons as Hopperfan. CBR was just too crowded. My 15 year old son didn't even use the theme pool at CBR. He didn't like it.

I feel like a traitor saying this since CBR is by far my fav resort of all the deluxes, moderates, and values at Disney, but its main pool is nice, but nowhere near the POR pool. If your interested in great pool theming go POR. (eeks, feeling like I have a knife in my back now.... ) But try that out you should like it and your kids will love it. I liked their pool the best at 7 years old, 15 years old, and still at 22 compared to the CBR.

I've been to both and CBR's pool is much more crowded and the slide for the kids is a bit smaller IMO. The hot tub for the adults was right in the middle of the pool from what I remember too and because of this it was also way too crowded.

The Ol' Man island pool is very nice and relaxing as well plus if you want to, you can also go next door to FQ and try out the Dabloon Lagoon pool because POR and FQ are sister resorts and they allow you to use both pools. So you can have the choice of 2 great pools this way.
