Beth's WW Journey. (Comments Welcome)

Ahh I am bsck to my normal life.

Brief recap of the weekend...
Friday: I got up at 430, walked the dog, worked, then hit the gym for cardio, went to the winetasting. Had an incredible time laughing with friends. I made it home at 1AM.

Saturday: Missed WW as I slept until 8. Helped my friend move, went to Walking with Dinosaurs with DD, helped friend unpack, walked dog. Dank more wine.

Sunday: Walked dog, had session with my trainer. Took Kate to lunch/shopping. Came home and did laundry.

Monday: Got kate off to school, went grocery shopping, went to school to help sort a fundraiser, walked dog, more laundry, Made dinner, took Kate to dance. Drank more wine.....

Plan or tomorrow...
Get kate ready for school, more laundry, clean the house, run to Costco, hit the gym for cardio, take Kate to dance, make dinner, walk the dog.

My house is totally trashed, but it is quiet. Having four younf kids here was a challenge. It really helped that each and every one of them got sick this weekend. I am using zicam and mega dosing my antioxidants. I don't want to get sick again.

I am off to bed,

Take care,
Beth

Hey girl...just popping in real quick...

First of all - awesome job getting in lots of exercise in a busy weekend. :thumbsup2

Second - didn't you love Walking with Dinosaurs? I thought the show was excellent when we saw it in Philadelphia.

Have a great Thanksgiving, and a wonderful week.

(oh, and I missed you too)

Hi Beth, you have been one busy lady as usual. I really don't know how you do it but you do! Lettuce wraps are a very good and tasty choice pointwise at P.F. Changs, so you picked a winner! I am glad your friend has found her own place, I really hope her life gets back on track. That is so awesome you did that for her and I can only imagine how glad you are to have your home back! Can't wait to see the Christmas pics.

And thank you so much for your pm's and support. They mean the world to me.

Hi Beth,
You missed something off your plan for tomorrow....buy more wine ;)
Hope you dont get sick!
have a great week :)

Hi Beth,

Sounds like you had a good weekend.:goodvibes I'm sorry to hear that the boys are sick. Sending some :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: your way so you, Kate, and your DH stay healthy.:grouphug:

Hope you have a great day!

Hi, Beth. Sorry I haven't posted in so long, but wanted to let you know I caught up on your journal. So sorry for the family issues and illness you have been experiencing. Here's hoping things are looking up for you.

Congratulations on continuing to make time for exercise and eating right. It is so easy to let that go when under stress, so you are a GREAT example for the rest of us out here. Hope you have a good day!

Susan

Hi Beth! Glad things seem to be getting back to normal! You sure have been doing a lot wine drinking lately!!! lol! Glad you got your friend moved and sorted out.

Stacie

Hi Beth,
Glad things are settling down, keep up the good work. Enjoy your Thanksgiving- I have a piece of coconut custard pie with my name on it.
Linda

Hi All,

Stacie, you are right. I am drinking a glass of wine each night. I won a case at the wine tasting I went to. I never buy alcohol. I just can;t justify the expense, but when I win it, I'll enjoy it.;)

Today was rough. Kate came bursting into my room at 430AM. She was absolutely panicked that she didn't do her homework. I explained that she doesn't have school until Monday, so it is ok. She went back to bed, but I couldn't fall back to sleep. Went to wokr, and we were slammed. All the other centers in the area closed at noon, so we got all the declots in the area. Ugh, I didn't get out of work until 5, usually it is 330. Looks like Friday will be more of the same. Came home, made dinner, went to the gym for a session with my trainer. Huh, he double booked. The boy has to get organized. I decided to do some cardio and core work. Food has been horrendous today. I missed lunch because we workded through it. by the time I got home I was ravenous. I ate anything that wasn't nailed down. :scared1:  Came home, and WISHED. I am now going to have my wine, take a shower and head to bed.

Tomorrow I head to my parents for dinner. Jon and I are actually splitting up for the holiday. My rents will watch Kate for the weekend, since I work Friday. She and I will go to their place. Jon is going to his parents because his brother is home from New York. It will be the first Thanksgiving in 11 years we've been apart. Kinda weird. I will drive home tomorrow night, so I can get my butt out of bed at 5AM to work, not shop.

Okay, I hope everyone has a nice thanksgiving. I will be back sometime on Friday.

Take care,
Beth

Hope you have a relaxing and fun Thanksgiving Beth!!!

Great job getting the exercise in despite the hectic day! :) You're doing great.

Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been around. It has been a crazy weekend. Here's a recap....

Thursday: I got up at 6AM, so I could go to the gym. I did an hour on the elliptical in preparation for dinner. Came home and picked up the munchkin, and then drove to my parents. I got there at 11AM to find the turkey still frozen.:rotfl: We finally ate at 830pm. My hunger had pretty much passed by this point, so I did not overendulge. I got home at about 1130.

Friday: up at 4AM. Hit target, Kohl's, and Macy's before heading into work. Work was insane. I didn't get out until about 515. Won and I wnet to dinner. Came home and wrapped presents.

Saturday: Went to ww. I actually lost 2.6 pounds this week. That puts me at 45.4 pounds lost. Went to pick Kate up at my rents. Made Spaghetti and meatballs for 9 people.

Sunday: We have about 4 inches of snow. I shovelled the drive, then went to the gym. I did 40 minutes on the elliptical, an hour with my trainer, and then 30 minutes on the bike. Went grocery shopping. Putaway laundry because I need the baskets to do laundry tomorrow. Cleaned Kate's room. Made dinner. Now i am headed to bed.

Please do not hate me because all my Christmas shopping is done, and all but one thing is wrapped. Sorry, must taunt occasionally.;) :lmao:

Hope everyone is well.

Take care,
Beth

Wow Beth!

How did you get all of that stuff done? You are amazing, girl!:cheer2:

Did you say that you had 4 inches of snow?!?!?:scared1: I'm glad that we're headed to Florida this weekend, but I know that the odds of there being snow on the ground when we return are pretty good.;)

Have a great week!

Not jealous...not jealous...not jealous. OK OK OK...YES woman...I'm jealous. Amazing job getting all that you got done..especially the gifts and packing. :thumbsup2

CONGRATS on the weight loss!!! :cheer2:

Wow! What a weekend!

Congrats on the weight loss and getting all of that stuff accomplished! Guess I need to go buy Christmas presents at some point :rolleyes1

Have a good day

Whoa! Will you do mine now- I will pay you! HA!HA! Not my favorite thing since the girls are teens now and the expectation is there and no Santa.I would like to give them coal just to see the look on their faces- yeah, cruel I know but it may teach them a thing or two.

Great job on the 45+ lbs. Keep it up!
Linda

Hi all,

My dream job would be a personal shopper/wdw planner.;)

Well, the plan was for me to go to the gym, and rest tomorrow. This morning my back and backside are more than a little sore. Unlike Amy and Scott, I don't like to work through the pain. Maybe that is why they are marathon runners and I am not.;) So today is my rest day. I did walk my dog for 2 miles. The last 1/2 mile it started with freezing rain. Ugh. How long until spring?

I'm working on laundry and putting up the Christmas tree today. kate has dance class tonight. Other than that, it is pretty low key here today.:thumbsup2

Tomorrow's plan is to workout in the AM. My mom is coming for lunch and a Costco run. More decorating, and dance class. I will have to walk the dog too. Ugh. The only time I don't love my puppy is when I am walking him in yucky weather.

Ok, I'm off.

Take care,
Beth

Hi Beth
