Cake bread chard is so good! I am going to try the choclate block in June.
I just loooove Rosa Regale. We first tried this in EPCOT and have been hooked. DH and I even asked Disney to provide it as our DH & I's first toast drink. It is a yummy sweet red sparkling wine made by Banfi. I even managed to find it locally for $20 a bottle! Also the grand marnier slushies are to die for on a hot day- not wine but still to die for![]()
I was soooo excited when I found out the NH State Liquor outlet stores sold Rosa for $18.![]()
BF & I each bought a bottle. We had a friend try some and the friend isn't even a wine drinker but had 1/2 a glass and asked us to pick him up a bottle too. Sooooo good.
I'm excited to try different ones when we're there. I read some reviews of the Chocolate Block online and they're all positive too. BF loves lamb so I suspect he'll be ordering that lambi patis at Jiko when we go.
I had a fantastic Merlot at Hollywood Brown Derby last year from Coppola Vineyards. Loved it so much, I had a bottle sent to my parent's table when they went a month later.
I ordered "a glass of white zinfandel". I have no idea what kind it was but it was the best glass of wine that I have ever had. When we paid for it we learned that the "best glass of wine ever" cost $8.00. That was when most wine, at least the kind that I drink, cost about $3 to $4. DH still kids me about that.
Oooh the Lamb at Jiko is very good and I imagine it would pair well with the Chocolate block from what I am hearing. $18 for Rosa- that is not a bad deal!!!
