The deal for the $50 gift card at WalMart only applied to the black or white Wii at our store. Red Wii bundle was not included.
We've decided to buy our kids (DS10 & DD7) a Wii for Christmas this year. I've been trying to figure out exactly what to buy and where the best deal is. It looks (right now) like the $199 Red Wii bundle at Target is the best. I saw their Black Friday ad today and they don't even have a Wii deal in there... so, I'm guessing this week's deal is the best they'll offer.
Should I go out and buy it... any idea if it can be returned if I find a better deal before Xmas?
What do I need besides the basic system? Extra controllers? Charging station? What are some of the best games?
Any and all advice is appreciated!
Thank you!
Are there any stipulations to using the gift card? I was planning on buying the Wii and then using the gift card to purchase an additional game. Is the card inside the Wii box or can I use it as soon as I purchase the Wii?

It is just a regular giftcard, they activate it at the register.
When I went to purchase mine, the cashier actually asked if I wanted the Wii rung up separately so I could use the gift card to pay for the rest of my purchases.
Does the Wii come with one or two games?
So, now that I have my Wii and balance board for a great price, I'm looking for an extra remote. Where's the best deal?
I bought my Wii last week at Wal-Mart and got the $50 gift card. I'm thinking I need to return it and re-purchase it this weekend with the $75 gift card. I've already used some of the $50 gift card, will they just refund me the price of the Wii minus the gift card?
Was just at my local WM picking up something shipped Site to Store. I was in the video game area and didn't notice a lot of people. Driving home I heard the ad for $75 GC with Wii purchase ($199). So I would guess that WM has plenty Wiis in stock and it made we wish we didn't already have one, well sort of.
Just found out it starts at 9 p.m. I thought it was 9 a.m. Explains why I didn't see many people in the video gaming dept.
