A friend of mine is looking for 1, she found a black bundle that includes Sports, Sports Resort, 2 nunchucks, 2 remotes, motion plus, wrist strap, active workout kit and dual remote power station. It cost $299. Is that a good deal? Thanks

Nintendo Wii System (White) with Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, and MotionPlus for $199 plus free shipping.
Wii sports resort sells for $49 so I think its a pretty good deal. Ive always had good luck with buy.com.

I would definitely get a charging station or rechargeable AA's because they go through batteries like crazy. Definitely buy at least 1 more wii remote as well.

I don't have a Best Buy or Meijer near me, so those are out... looks like I'll be buying my Wii at Target using their extra $20 off coupon in the four days leading up to Thanksgiving.

Actually $179 seems like the very best deal, considering you don't have to stand in line and brave the Black Friday crowds for it.

Where do I get one of these Target coupons for $20 off? Does anyone know? TIA.

Lets do the math. i'll assume that both remotes have motion plus and wrist straps for the sake of the math and that they're actual Nintendo remotes. if any of this is incorrect then the value is less.
$199 - black bundle with Sports, Sports Resort, 1 nunchuck, 1 remote w/motion plus & wrist strap
$ 19 - 1 nunchuck
$ 39 - 1 remote w/motion plus & wrist strap
$ 29 - dual remote power station
=======
$286

This doesn't include the workout kit because I don't know what that is (if it's Wii Fit then this is an AMAZING deal and could you please share the site where you found it?). you can definitely get dual remote power stations cheaper than this, as low as $10. Basically, I don't think this is going to be any better than getting everything separately and separately you can pick and choose the actual items you want.

Amazon has a deal where if you buy the black or white bundle with Sports Resort plus Wii Fit then you'll get a $50 credit towards future purchase of games. $50 Credit Deal If you want Wii Fit anyway then this seems like a good deal.

Also, if you've got Prime and pay with a mastercard, you'll get an additional $10 credit towards future purchases. Prime deal

Hmmm...I'm having trouble with the DIS today. I posted a comment but it's not here.

WallyWorld is having a bundle for $249 on black friday. (Click on the 'Ad Scan' tab in the upper left and scroll down past the pink DSlite) The ad shows the red console, remote plus, nunchuk, extra set of controllers, and 3 games. How does that pan out?

The Wal-Mart ad doesn't seem to say what exactly you get with that bundle. I'm assuming the "extra set of controllers" are these at $19.96 for the pair. That means the console and controllers are worth $219.95. Then it says it comes with "games". It doesn't say what games. The Wii Sports and Super Mario Brothers comes with it already as part of the regular bundle. If it actually comes with the Wii Sports Resort and Disney Epic Mickey then that's almost an $100 value. So, in that case the bundle is a very good deal because it's worth aver $310. The flyer says it's a $60 savings which would be about right if it does come with those 2 games.

personally I don't want non-Nintendo controllers so it's not what I want, but if you're fine with non-Nintendo controllers and you want these games then it does sound like a good deal. Assuming you get all of these games. It doesn't seem clear in the ad.

ETA: I just took a closer look at the flyer on the actual Wal-Mart website. On the site, the flyer links to this bundle. This bundle says from $249, not the plain $249 it shows in the flyer. This bundle includes real Nintendo controllers. I wonder if on BF it will be this bundle WITH the choice of the games? The line "As advertised in your local ad, this item will only be available online at the special low price on Friday, November 26." is at the bottom of the page. I think I need to be on walmart.com bright and early. This is EXACTLY what I'm looking for.

I saw on slickdeals that some Targets have the original Wii (with Wii Sports) on clearance for $140. One poster said he got it at his store for $100.
There is a coupon in tomorrows Target ad for $20 off any Wii system, it expires 11/24. (sorry if its a repeat, I didn't read the all the posts).

"Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics" (a $50 game alone) So I'd say we got a pretty good deal! AND we are the COOLEST PARENTS EVER.....our kids flipped out when we showed them!!! (cant IMAGINE how they'll react when we surprise them w/a Disney trip in September)

She found it at the PX on post. I thought it sounded like a good deal, I'm sure they can be bought cheaper with everything seperate but I told her it was probably 1 of the better deals around.

Thanks for the breakdown, I don't know the prices of each item...it's definitely not the Wii Fit, it's more like a fanny pack that holds the remote and stuff from what I understand.

I haven't been over to Target, yet... I was planning to head there after work to pick up my Wii system using the coupon... but, are you saying that it comes with the old remotes? I definately want remotes with Motion Plus.
