Best way to return to Animal Kingdom Villas after Illuminations Cruise

I searched but did not seem to come up with a definitive answer. My family has an Illiminations cruise booked for a night early in October and when I asked the phone CM how to get back to Jambo House after the fireworks she said to take an Epcot bus from Beach Club to the entrance of Epcot and transfer to a resort bus. Is this the best way to get back to our resort? Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

You'll be waiting a very long time - that bus doesn't exist.

The best way is to take a cab. Other than that, walk or take the boat to DHS and get a bus from there.

Walk over to beach club and get a cab. Or, if you really want to do it for free, take a bus to Disney Springs ( because it's open late ), then switch to an AKL bus.

Thanks! I didn't think there was an Epcot bus but wanted to be sure. DHS closes at 7:30 or that would have been my first choice. Looks like a cab or uber is our best bet. Thanks guys for the quick responses!

DHS is apt to close earlier than Epcot some nights.

By October, the new DS bus depot and the express bus lanes into and out of it should be open. Hopefully, transferring at DS will be no worse than transferring at a park.

Cab or uber as long as car seats are not an issue. Don't ruin a great night with an arduous travel experience!
