Best Way to Hoop Dee Doo from Poly

What is the best route to Fort Wilderness for the 7:15 PM Hoop dee Doo? Is there a boat that goes from the Poly to Fort Wilderness?
What is the best way back to the Poly after dinner?

To get to HDDR you can take the monorail over to the Contemporary and then the boat over to FW. The boat drops you off right by Settlement Trading Post and Pioneer Hall. After dinner they have buses waiting for each resort to take you back.

Can't you also walk over the T&TC and take a bus? I thought that was an option ...

It was the easiest way for many years but Tyler reported a while back that that bus has been discontinued for the most part. It does apparently run still after later shows if the MK has closed.

You can also take the ferry, boat launch or monorail to the MK and take the FW boat from there.

Many, many years ago there WAS a boat that went from the Polynesian to FW in the evening for the Hoop. It was fun to take.

I have never seen a bus to the Polynesian from FW though. Just the one to TTC. But there is usually a cast member around the bus stop who can answer any questions. Things do change.

We were there last month and after HDDR they have a bus for every resort waiting to take people back. Not sure if there is one for Poly, if not I guess the boat back to CR then monorail.

I've never seen a bus for GF, Polynesian or CR at FW. For those resorts you've always "had" to take a bus to TTC or use the boats.

This is exactly what my family did, and it worked out very smoothly.

Taking the boats is always fun but taking the bus to the TTC if you're at a later show and then either making the short walk if you're in the Eastern buildings or hopping the resort monorail if you're tired and in the Western buildings is faster. Again, if you're tired. The boat and monorail is certainly more magical than the bus.

We took the Poly boat to MK then the FW boat. It was very easy & very fast. We just walked off one dock & went on to the next.

Thanks for all the replies. I do remember when there was a boat from the Poly to FW. I was hoping this was still the case.
