My sweet, sweet DBF thinks i'm a nutcase travel nazi for even asking /strategizing for this (its not my fault my tourism major makes me crazy), but we we staying at POR for 3 nights. We are driving down & should check in at POR at around 4-5pm on Sat Jan 7th, and have 7:30 ADR's at California Gril (we're hooked on their chocolate valrhona cake!!).
As I see it, we have 2ish options.. 1) Take the bus from POR to MK, and walk to CR, then catch a bus from CR to DTD and take the boat back to POR. (we're in no hurry to get back to POR after dinner, but don't fancy waiting for a bus at MK after wishes. 2) Just drive. The only problem with this is that we may feel like having a few glasses of wine, and then one of us would have to abstain. That and last time we drove to CR, it took us an hour to get back to our hotel on 192 when it should have taken 15 mins like it took us to get there. No traffic.. but have you tried to navigate that place at night? Sheesh.
Am I a crazy psycho for even asking? (DBF says yes.)
Tips? Suggestions?

Hello...when we stayed at POR we didn't have a car so we had to rely on WDW transportation. We took the bus to MK and the monorail to CR.
