Best way to get from hotel back to airport?

What's the cost of using Mears Shuttle vs. a taxi to get from the WDW area back to the airport? If we used Mears, how far in advance of our flight would we need to leave? Is there another service we should consider? TIA!

I think that Mears is $16 one-way per adult, and $10 one-way per child. Mears will recommend that they pick you up 3 hours before departure. You can go later than that, but they will not guarantee that you will make the flight.

A one way cab ride from CSR to the airport was $49 before tip. Mears is much cheaper.
