Hi all! We are so excited about staying AKV Concierge in early November for the first time. We definitely want to do the Sunrise Safari, which I should be able to reserve in about a month. Should I take the initiative to contact Concierge? Is it too early to do so this far out, and what is the best way to reach out to them? I made my ressies 11 months out and haven't heard anything yet, but want to be prepared at 180 days so we won't be disappointed. Thanks for the advice!

I contacted them myself first via email. I'll see if I can find the email for you. I have it saved but it is on my other computer.

I just called them using the number on the email they sent. I spoke to a very nice gentleman who took care of all of our needs...very easy!:thumbsup2

I spoke with Don in their office recently about my upcoming stay and he was SO helpful! And his Donald Duck impression was hilarious!

Moustruck, I PM'd you...

We just got back from a night at AKL - concierge level - to celebrate our anniversary. It was wonderful! The people and the food were great, and the Sunrise Safari was awesome. The breakfast after the safari was very good too.

After the Sunrise Safari, we stopped to get fast passes for the Safari before we went to breakfast. That way, when breakfast was over, we got to go right back on another safari. We saw fewer animals on the Sunrise Safari, but got to stop for great pictures and get much closer to the animals. By the second time, more were out and it was great too.

You will love staying on the club level. Well worth the points.

We also found Don to be very helpful! I highly reccomend the Con. Club level! I also highly reccomend doing the SUNSET safari! It's about twice as much as the sunrise, but the interaction with the animals is much closer, and the care givers leading the safari are very knowledgeable about each of the animals and tell you about their personalities and neat little facts about them. Of course, the dinner at Jiko that follows is special too! We did both safaris when we stayed at CC last month, and I honestly don't know which I preferred. They were both excellent, but very different.
