I know there are lots of people out there who do split stays and can help me out!!

We want to do split stay between CR TPV and Poly GV in that order.

What is cheapest way to book it? or with free dining does it not make sense to do split stay?!

we are me, DH, DD2, DD5 and DD 7 at trip!!

thanks in advance!

Your 2 year old will not count, this is an assumption that you are traveling before she is 3. Thus you will have 2 adults and two children. When my eleven year olds were under ten, we never booked free dining because the room only deal was better even when we paid for the dining plan. This is my long winded way of saying, free dining is not always the best discount when there are two Disney children in the party at the deluxe level. You will have to do the math at the time of booking however because both Poly and CR often do not get the best room only offers. Simply put "it depends."

We usually book the dining plan for the longest segment of our trip. We usually book the longest segment at the beginning. So last year we did 5 nites BC and 3 nites AKL Club. There are two reasons why we did this 1) BC is next to the Epcot restaurants and we enjoy them more than resort restaurants 2) after 5nites of the dining plan we are stuffed and tired of full meals. The club level at the end is almost our detox segment lol.

Conclusion: You will have to do the math based on your preferences and Disney offers at the time you are going.

Personal note, I am always surprised to read about Poly/ CR splits. These resorts offer similar transport, locale, and amenities. :-)

I am thinking that room only will save us more but not sure...if free dining saves more we will have to decide what resort to stay at. I was told to get tickets for all the stay in the first visit so you don't pay as much for tickets.

as for the CR/POLY split....we stayed at the poly this year and loved it so know we want to go back there...but I have always wanted to stay TPV at the CR and this is our last trip for a while so I want to spoil myself and our girls with TPV for a few nights! Plus we will do 2 or 3 days at MK and 2 days at epcot and maybe only 1 at DHS...not sure if we will do AK at all. We want to do MNSSHP and I thought the walk home from MK to CR would be handy!!

I really want to try out beach club sometime and contemplated split stay between poly and beach club as well...now you have me thinking :confused3

I am thinking beach club is better when girls are older and I don't have to be on top of them as much around pools!
