best walking shoes ??

I had a pair of Cros flip flops, these http://www.zappos.com/crocs-capri-iv-black-black to be exact. They were supportive and comfortable and I would have recommended them.

Before last week, that is.

Last week I found out they had a fatal flaw. If the Crocs get too hot -- they shrink. A LOT. A coworker and I went on a business trip and we both had left comfortable shoes to change back into for the drive home. I left them in a car in the shade for 3 hours. When I got back to the car, the temp inside the car was NOT unbearably hot, but the shoes had shrunk nearly two full sizes. I Googled, "Crocs shrinking" and lo and behold, this is a common problem and occurs just wearing them or leaving them outside in hot weather.

The company told me that if I had sent in my warranty card and they were less than a year old, they'd replace them. Otherwise, I was screwed. I bought them 13 months ago, so I'm screwed.

I love all the crocs Cleo styles my chiro is anti crocs and when he saw them he said he didn't know they made crocs with such good support he had only seen the normal ugly ones but yes you can't leave them in the sun and they only last one Disney trip with all the walking you do but I don't end up with sore feet at the end of the day so Im happy

Well it seems i am going to have to try these cleos. Last year we were in universal studios and my feet were burning and i saw a guy selling regulae crocs to soooo many people but they were the big clown shoe version and i could not bring myself to put them on my feet ... But the cleos are cute and endless has them for practically half of what the aussie site does ... Maybe i will go shoe shopping in the next few days!

Yes, I was always a no-way-would-I-ever-wear-a-Croc person and I still wouldnt wear the regular clown shoe ones. When I got mý Cleos (they are plain black), I did feel a bit weird in them at first but I think it was because they were just so comfortable and my poor feet had clearly been unaccustomed to such comfort

... But the cleos are cute and endless has them for practically half of what the aussie site does ... Maybe i will go shoe shopping in the next few days!

I love Sketchers in the slip on sneakers/runners. They are nice to wear with jeans and shorts. Not bulky like most runners.

my sis is a fan of sketchers. she didn't bring them on the trip though, she spent the whole time in regular sandals or knee high stiletto boots. lol. she works in a shoe store, so she's used to being on her feet in those all day long. i would have died if it was me though

i'll get her to maybe get me a pair when they're on sale.

I too have been searching for a great pair of shoes to tour WDW. I have lupus and neuropathy in my feet and usually only wear flip-flops because I can't stand my feet being hot plus I usually don't feel my feet very well.

I've tried chacos, Teva, Keen to name a few. I finally found a pair of pair of flip-flops that are uber comfortable and feel like I'm walking in my slippers all day long. They are yoga mat flip flops by sanuk. I even got them on sale at rei for 18.93

Exactly Travel Mum. Once you can swallow your pride to get the Cleos it's all like floating on a cloud . Love my black cleos.

well while the cleos are uber cute and seem to be quite the cutest walking shoe i've seen in the crocs range, i've held off buying them this year. i will probably buy them closer to our trip next year so that they are nice and new and fresh

Just be careful they don't sell out in your size. The only Cleos I've been able to find have been in size 4! I'm sure the new Cleos are comfy too, but I prefer just the two straps instead of the three.
