Best view of Castle Projection & Wishes

We book FP+ on April 9. Most important to DH is a great spot to view castle projection & Wishes. Last time we stood just in front of castle at top of hub. Now construction seems to be there. It looks like Wishes FP+ Spot is too far away to get a good view of castle projection.

I need help! DH told me to ask you all for help! I know Robo will have a detailed map for this somewhere.

The problem you have is there is no 1 place that is great for both.
Close enough to see the projection show in full detail is too close for fireworks
Far enough for a prime view of all the fireworks is too far to see all the detail on the project show
On the street at the intersection of Casey's and the Ice Cream shop is where I think you get the best view of both without moving between them.

You do want to be able to see the show that is actually projected on the front of the Castle,
"Celebrate the Magic," which begins about 15 minutes before the fireworks.


This is a new version of this map that features a representation of the new hub and its FP+ Wishes viewing areas.
At this point, I'm not sure how the new "outer sidewalks" will be allowed or blocked
for fireworks viewers.
Not all of the sidewalks I've depicted have actually been built, yet.

As the actual Hub construction goes along, I'll revamp the shaded areas.

Call me a perfectionist, but my preference especially when taking pictures/video has always been outside the aforementioned Casey's and Ice cream parlor. There, you are centered on the castle with the fireworks directly(or near so) over it. Disclaimer: I have not had the opportunity to view them from either fast pass locations.

If you have a smaller group, the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse is just about the best spot to view Wishes - in my opinion.

I think we've found a solution: DH says to try for a Wishes FP on our first night at MK & a MSEP FP on our second night at MK. The only other FP's from MK that we really want are 7DMT & Storytime with Belle, since we haven't done those before. Otherwise, we're on a trip with two grandmothers, so we'll just do what we can!
