We're going to take Lottie on the first day, but not sure whether to go for lunch or dinner. Think that we're leaning more towards lunch in the hope that she will still be wide awake, but what time? Would love to spend lots of time with the characters!

We went for supper in the evening as we are not big lunch eaters. Characters come out around 6 - 6.15pm. So if you are seated earlier you can already have started to eat :goodvibes

It will be quieter at lunchtime as most are in the parks. I have never been at lunchtime but we always go around 5.30pm and by the time we have been seated and ordered the characters are out then.

You may get more character interaction if it is quiet at lunch :thumbsup2

We had a reservation for 4.30pm, Cafe was very quiet and we didnt see any characters. We were there till about 6pm.

We go for it opening at 12 noon.... This is a great time to go as it's so quiet and the characters spend loads of time with you....

I don't think the characters are there from 3-6 or something like that??

Thats right Bob - the characters take a break in the afternoon after lunch, and are back raring to go around 6.15 each evening :goodvibes

We have booked to eat here next Tuesday.

When we made the reservation, the guy on the phone said that the characters leave at 2.45 and return just after 6pm

We've always gone in the evening before but went for lunch this summer and even though it was fairly busy (we went at 1pm) we had loads of great character interaction.

Enjoy!! :wizard:

I went at 12.30 on a Wednesday during SUPER busy season and it was lovely and quiet and we saw loads of characters quite a few times each!

i went at lunch time and we had lots of character interaction. we couldnt get friar tuck to leave us alone lol

We always eat lunch there on our last day, it's become a tradition now. We book the tabe for 12.30 and it'a nice and quiet till the characters come out... It's wonderful :thumbsup2

Have you considered breakfast?

We went last year and felt it was calm and organised with lots of character interaction.

We had a good hot breakfast with plenty of choice and the characters spent quite a bit of time with each table and there was plenty of time for photos etc

We booked CM for 1:30 on our 1st day and went straight there when we arrived off the Eurostar.
It was still quite busy, probably because it was raining when we arrived and also it was a french holiday.
However it wasnt over busy, not as much as i saw it during some evenings.

It was nice eating at lunchtime infact we ended up eating our main meal at lunchtime during our whole holiday as we couldnt face the madness of the evening queues for the resturants in the Villiage, especially after a tiring day in the parks.

We found that eating our main meal in table service resturants at lunch time and getting a takeaway in the evening worked really well for us :thumbsup2
