Best ticket delivery option?

This is our first trip to Universal Orlando and I am clueless
I called to order tickets today and asked about my delivery options. She told me that I had none and that my tickets could be picked up at the kiosk outside the parks. I know there is a print at home option and thought I could chose to have the tickets mailed out to me. Is kiosk pick-up a pain or a huge line? I would rather pay shipping and already have the tickets and have gotten very spoiled with Magic Bands the last few years! Thanks for any advice!

I do kiosk pick up as you get the actual tickets

If you do print at home it will be on the 8x5 sheets


UO won't exchange your print at home tickets for the cc size tickets

I have used the kiosk in my hotel for pick up

I have an annual pass but special event and the tours I purchase are the tickets I use w/ kiosk pick up

UO does have fed ex or ? For delivery but it's too much to pay for something I can get for free

I do not like being nickle and dimed on ticket delivery

If tickets sent directly to you are preferred, just use a Licensed Ticket Vendor. Most likely you’ll even save a buck or two. I have used Undercover Tourist, Maple Leaf Tickets and (DIS Indorsed) The Official Ticket Center. They all have met delivery expectations on time with actual tickets.

Update – UOR (USF/IOA) Sep 2016 Instead of standard tickets The Official Ticket Center sent 8½ X 11 printouts.

Kiosks are in the hotels too. At RPR, after you check-in, you'll have to print out your express passes. The ticket kiosk is located right before the express pass machine. It is embedded into the concierge desk, so make sure you don't go looking in another area for it.

Getting your express passes and tickets from the kiosks takes about the same amount of time as it does to put on a magic band.

Undercover Tourist will mail you the tickets at no extra charge (allow a week to ten days, more to be safe) or allow print at home. Unless you're getting a package, I don't think there's any reason to buy direct from Universal.

Thank you! I actually had the pin code for Buy 1 day get 2 free so I had to purchase through Universal this time around to get the best price!

There are plenty of kiosks, so you shouldn't have to wait in line at all! It's quick and easy!

Buy tickets from Undercover Tourist - 4 days Park to Park (buy 2, get two free), then upgrade to annual passes once I get there? is upgrading a pain, or does Guest services make that pretty easy?

Undercover Tourist has stated that that ticket is not upgradeable.

Their buy 2 days, get one free is upgradeable.

To be on the safe side, never buy a ticket with an expiry date if you wish to upgrade.

wow! thank you! I did not see that. I would have been very upset once I got there!
Should I just forget about Undercover Tourist and just buy the annual passes direct? What would you do?
I am so bummed about the increase in price! i should have bought them a couple weeks ago!!

You'll save a bit of money buying the 2 day get one free. They are $226.88. You will be credited $250 (gate price of a 3 day ticket), so you'll save $23/pass when you upgrade. It's up to you whether you want to wait in line at Guest Services or not. I've done it and it was fine but others have had a longer wait.

We were at RPR in August. I went to the ticket counter at the hotel to ask about upgrading and when I gave her my tickets, which were e-tickets from UT printed at home on 8.5x11 paper, the rep offered to print me tickets that would fit in my lanyard. I was going to ask anyway but she offered first, which was great. I eventually did upgrade our 2 + 1 p2p to power passes the last day they were valid. I upgraded at USO Guest Services the last day our tickets were valid and had no problem.

I did want UT to ship the tickets but by the time I got around to buying the tickets, it was too late to get free shipping and I did not want to risk paying and not getting the tickets by the time we left. It ended up working out fine.

If you print at home you won't be able to do kiosk pick up


Some have reported the hotel staff have printed out actual tickets if the person showed their print at home tix


Do not know how long they will continue to do that
