Best testing options for those driving between BC and Anaheim

We're looking to drive down to Disneyland later this spring, and wondering what the best testing options were. Looking right now, it seems like there's hardly any openings at Walgreens (hopefully that'll change in the next couple months) so I'm wondering what the best back up plans for those who are on the road--thanks!

Can't speak to free tests. Didn't want to deal with delays in results, trouble booking etc. so for peace of mind we used Switch Health test kits going (rapid antigen) and returning (LAMP) on our recent Disneyland trip. Purchased the tests at a discount through Air Canada but you don't need to be flying or flying AC to buy them.

Thanks for the tip--we might look at that as a backup, but for the 4 of us cost is definitely a consideration (this trip is stretching us as it is!).

Yep - I hear you. We were a group of 4 and our total was in the area of $800 CAD for both types of tests. Still, we were only going to Disneyland for 3 days and the thought of spending all of them stressing about the appointment then waiting for the results, as well as the half-day faffing about Ubering to testing sites and back, well, for us, it was just a cost we added onto an already very expensive, but well worth it, trip.
