What is the best Swan/Dolphin rate anyone has gotten recently? Thanks :sunny:

We paid $99/night last summer as a nurses rate...I think the same rate this year is $129.

That's really good! The best we've ever gotten was $139, and that was a couple of years ago on the teacher rate. I never really realized, but considering what Disney charges for the deluxe resorts there by Epcot, the rates I've gotten are ridiculously low!

Now what is the best you have gotten in October?

I have 149 for 9/26 - 10/4/06 close to the best rate I have gotten so far.

I just love the Dolphin ~ can't wait.

I just got $169 for next May at the Dolphin. I used the teacher discount. I agree that these rates are great for a deluxe EPCOT hotel. I really love the POLY, but for the money, this Dolphin rate is fantastic (and the pool's better!)!!

There are some good rates on the Swan and Dolphin website. It's showing a special for $159 for various dates from 8/3 - 10/6.

Yes, this is worth a bump if you don't mind!

I booked a room for $149 for 9/28-10/4 last week and my sil just booked the same dates yesterday and it had gone up to $159 so they are going up.

Can't beat the location and amenities of this resort for that price. Looking forward to trying picabu - my dd's loved tubbies :)

We got $139 in June for a long weekend during one of the Star Wars Weekends. We booked on the Swan/Dolphin website directly.

Any later October rates out there?

We are paying the government rate for October 6-8 at the Swan. It's Columbus Day weekend. I can't remember what the rate is, LOL... probably $159 + tax.

Easter week 2007 - PEAK RATE - $199.50 for AAA or AP

teacher rate same time is $189 <- peak dates

Hi, I went to the Swan and Dolphin website and couldn't get a rate past December 2006. Do you have to call to get the Easter 2007 rate? Just trying to plan well ahead before it's too late.

Thanks in advance!

Still looking for everyone's 2nd half of October rates. Does that mean no one is going then?

HELP, we are trying to decide to stay at either the "Swan and Dolphin" or the Beach Club. We have two boys ages, 18 and 15. Which would you choose?
We have never been to either one.

Thanks for your help,

which is another reason for me to love it so and one reason we keep returning!

We got $139 at the Swan during Thanksgiving of 2004, I think this was just a DIS special, or maybe just a holiday special from the resort. We got $129 for an upcoming August trip - this was an email that I received directly from the resort, a repeat guest rate.

During Thanksgiving 2005 we got $179.00.

A friend of mine got $99 during Labor Day one year.

We made ressie for Feb. 2007, President's week (peak rates) for $189 (teacher rate). Pretty much same price as rack rate at a moderate during peak. Not too shabby!!!
