I know that it's a long shot, but I'd like to request room numbers for my vacation next week. We are staying at the WLV from Feb 14th to Feb 16th and at the BCV from Feb 16 to Feb 21st.

We got married in 2001 and requested a specific room at the Grand Floridian and got it. Maybe we'll get lucky again.

Any room numbers of great rooms with views etc. could be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Asking for a specific room, especially in such a busy week (Valentine's, President's Day & Daytona 500) is mostly liekly going to result in dissappointment.

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/wildernesslodge.pdf . The thought with this is to know in advance if a specific room will work for you. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

I have also created a sheet that just has some highlights of rooms that may not work for everyones needs. You might find that helpful instead:

Here's the link for BCV:

I have 561 BCV loved it

I had 1516 VWL and loved it - some won't - everyone leaves and enters right in front of you.

We were in studio 3503 at VWL and thought it was great, very convenient. It was a lock-off.

We stayed in 1514, next door to spiceycat (but not at the same time) and loved it. No elevator ride, across the hall to laundry room, "dedicated" lots of space and two closets. I enjoyed watching folks leave and come back from the park.

Beware - one morning I opened the drapes and there was the grounds crew working on the landscape :earseek:
Good thing i was dressed!!

I stayed in the room right under spiceycat (again, at a different time) in #461 at BCV, and didn't like the view. So a "great view" for one person isn't necessarily another's! I loved the view from #339 last year. Now, someone else probably had the same view and didn't like it at all! When I made my ressies for next year, I requested "non-Epcot" view. Boy, was MS surprised! Just goes to show everyone has their own idea of "great view".

We recently had 1516 at VWL too. I was impressed that it seemed so big. Didn't even snap that it was a "dedicated" studio. Diana

If you didn't make your request when you made your reservation, you are probably too late. They ask that you NOT call to make special requests except through Member Services.

And I second InstImpres with the chance for disappointment.

We really enjoyed the location and view. Overlooked the pool and we could see the lake thru the trees. It was towards the end of the shorter hall so it was quiet without a long walk.

I can't remember if it was a lock-off or a dedicated unit. It was clean and in good condition.
