Ok I know this isn't a totally new subject, but from the previous discussions I still can't tell whats best!

We have a CM reservation at 8:05 and will be going to MK afterwards (9 am opening) we're going to be driving and will have DD age 2. Looking for the best strategy for parking. I see 2 options:

- paying for valet at Contemporary and taking the monorail or walking to MK
Possible downsides to this is it seems to be not official that valet parking allows all unlimited time frame and that if we visit another park after her nap we will have to pay to park again in the park lot since we won't have the paid parking from the am

-driving to TTC and either walking or taking the monorail to Contemporary
The possible downside here is the time it will take. How long should I allow? Is there a bus option? Would that be faster?

TIA for your expertise!

I'm searching for the same answer! We r staying at All Star Sports and have a 715am ressie at CM. Do we:

A. Drive to Contemporary then eat and drive to MK for day.

B. Drive to Contemporary then eat and walk to MK for the day, leaving car at Contemporary (is that allowed?)

C. Drive to TTC, take monorail to MK, switch to resort rail, go to CM to eat then walk to MK for day.

What's the best thing to do!!?? Also, when do we leave All Star Sports to make it work? Help!

TIA

For offsite guests, the best thing to do is drive to TTC, take RESORT monorail directly to Contemporary, then walk or monorail to MK after breakfast.

The resort monorail DOES stop at TTC.

If you are staying at All-Star Sports unless you just WANT to drive, then I would be at the All-Star bus stop right at 6:20 am and take the bus to MK. As you board the bus, ask the driver the "best way to get to Contemporary". The driver may drop you directly. If not, then just walk over to the Contemporary after being dropped at MK.

If you are driving, I would leave ASSports at 6:30am anyway so you have time to park and walk to the monorail station, then be on the 7am first monorail to Contemporary.

If you are pushed for time, then drive directly to Contemporary and pay for the valet parking.

Drive to the Contemporary and use their valet service. If you use valet there is no time frame for when you have to pick up your car (I got that from a valet attendant there directly). The valet lots are seperate from the self parking lots. If you were to park in the self parking lot, by rule you can only leave your car there for three hours if you aren't a resort guest, however I don't know what Disney will do if they spot your car after the three hour window. The three hour rule technically applies to valet as well, but as I said earlier the attendants don't mind. We have used valet services at the Contemporary, Polynesian, and Beach Club over the years and have always left our vehicle with them way past the three hour window and have never had a problem.

Thank you. My thinking on the valet fee was that if I used that, I'd end up paying that fee then the parking fee at one of the parks later in the afternoon so it seems that the monorail is the safe option.

Does anyone know how long I should allow for the resort monorail to get from TTC to Contemporary? It runs only 1 way correct? And it would be running by 7 am?

I would say to allow about 20 minutes to get from the TTC to the Contemporary on the monorail.

The Resort monorail starts at 7am.

15-20 minutes for the monorail, then you can walk to the MK from the Contemporary in less than 5 minutes.
