Best Signature dining to take kids?

We are thinking of going to an upscale restaurant on our last day. We have young kids (3 and 7). I understand that signature dining is not the most kid friendly. Which one is best. Flying Fish looks a bit fun and loud. Might be a good choice?

Should we just go to Spoodles instead?

We are on the dining plan. We are already booked for HDD.

Making ADRs next week!!! :)

Jiko, Artist Point or Flying Fish, any of them would be excellent.

Just remember...the meals take a couple hours in each of these restaurants, so if the 3 year old acts up, be prepared to have everything packed up to take back to your room, so as not to disturb other diners.

We took DS6 and my friend's 10 year old to California Grill and Jiko on our trip. CG was a highlight of the trip. When I told DS we might be going back one of the first things he asked was whether we could go to the "restaurant with the fireworks". I think even a preschooler would be impressed.

Jiko was lovely too and the kids were happy and well behaved but I knew it wouldn't have been their first choice.

Flying Fish could be a good choice. As long as we do not make the kids 4 & 8 sit thru to many "fancy" places they do fine. Maybe 1 per trip. Our kids have done Brown Derby twice & done quite well.

I went to WDW for the first time when I was 10 and my brother 8 and our parents took us to California Grill for our "fancy dinner". I STILL remember how great it was and how fun it was to do a fancy dinner that we wouldn't have done at home. I think any of them will be great and memorable for you, but I love CG!

My children enjoy CG, the kids color right on the table (there is a white sheet of paper on top). If they get tired of sitting you can always take them out to the observation deck where I am sure you will all enjoy the view. Oh and they bring out goldfish crackers for the kids to nibble on. Good luck :thumbsup2
