Best shoes/sandals/flip flops for parks?

Have just order a pair of Teva (Kayenta) for my wife. I have a pair of Clarks sandals but they really make the outside of my left foot hurt so much I juts cannot wear them; usually a fan of clarks but now looking at keeping some Merrells. Last trip to WDW wore boat shoes from Jones and they were very good but this time gonna try some sandals as it will be much hotter

I am a mixture of three types of shoes depending on what we are doing that day. Trainers, birkenstocks (brilliant!!) or crocs (the ones that look like flip flops-they are so comfy). :)

Usually wear my Croc Caymans but this year I found that wearing them and pushing the stroller built up static and I kept giving off electric shocks  so ended up in trainers!

This is the bit I always dread... what footwear to wear in florida when doing a lot of walking.
When wearing a pair of converse, the arch of my foot killed me because they were just too flat. I was in agonny for days. So then I decided to wear a pair of my classic slip on vans, comfy at first but then the arch thing happened again. So then I moved onto my final pair of shoes, which were skate vans. Big typical chunky skate shoes. They were by far the comfiest.

The only problem was that I looked like such a jip/mess because I would wear short denim shorts and then these big massive skate shoes. -cringes- Don't know what I'm gonna wear this year. I've got a month to think, although I am considering wearing them sandal crocs everyone has been recommending.

Crocs for the marathon park days, bf wears trainers as he found Crocs gave him blisters though I think he just hadn't worn them in enough (i'd worn mine for months before our trip, mainly around the house when doing chores) For other days i've worn my Earth sandals or skate shoes (these are my comfy shoe of choice most of the time, but when they get wet as they're wont to do in Florida they tend to rub a lot) I know some don't like the look of Crocs but personally I don't give a hoot what others think of my clothes/shoes in Florida as long as i'm comfy :)

I have to admit that on our last trip 2 years ago I gave in to crocs despite thinking they were hideous - a few jibbitz later and these things became by absolute best friends. Was crocs or flip flops all the way with me and will be again this year. Hubby also wore crocs!

Crocs Adara for me. Same comfort as Caymans but open toe so no problems with sweaty sore feet

Mrs Pegasus :)
