Best rides for MK at night?

I'm assuming dumbo during wishes is the same length ride as usual? If that is the case, I would think you miss most of the show waiting in line and unloading

MK at night is a special place because of the variety of lighting. From Main Street to the various lands. Example: The brighter lighting on Main Street to the dim lighting near HM.

In regards to attractions:
Outdoor - BTMRR, Splash Mtn and TTA. BTMRR and TTA for sites around the Magic Kingdom, and Splash for the view just before you go down the hill.

Indoor - HM. It's spookier.

We tend to tour during teh holiday season and the Christmas/Holiday Decorations make it an extra special place at night.

I just asked my 10 year old the question and she said BTMRR for sure. I AGREE!!!! We ended up riding BTMRR at night by accident and it is now a family favorite.

The fireworks are too cool for us to miss so we don't usually ride the rides during them....but I bet they're cool from the mountain if we did!! :-)

Wow, thanks for all the replies! I'm so excited for nighttime rides now! One of my earliest Disney memories is riding the carousel at night.

We'll have two nights this trip, with one being EMH, hopefully we get all these in!

Rides I enjoy at night are, Splash, BTMRR, and TTA which make sense. But then the others I really enjoy more at night are Buzz and POTC. I know these are both indoor rides, but I just love going into them when it's dark out, and then coming out after the ride into the dark. Not sure what it is about night time that makes me enjoy these 2 more, but I do.

And if you've seen Wishes or don't care for fireworks in general, that is the best time to be hitting rides.

Astro Orbiter, Thunder Mountain and the Barnstormer are all great at night... The view from the top of splash mountian is pretty darn good too, if you don't mind getting wet a few seconds later :scared1:

BTMRR is a much different ride after dark. It feels faster and more thrilling, and the views are amazing. TTA is also great after dark. I completely agree with others about Haunted Mansion, it feels a lot spookier when it's dark out.

We've never tried the Jungle Cruise at night, but will be sure to work it in this year!

Another favorite of mine after dark, that I haven't seen anyone else mention is the Swiss Family Treehouse. I know it's not really a "ride" but it looks much cooler at night, and the views are fantastic, especially looking over toward Space Mountain!

deffinately do Splash Mountain at night, its amazing. also do BTMRR, and Jungle Cruise, both very fun at night.

Hey Y'all!

We're going to Disney in Dec (11-18) and I was hoping to squeeze in a QS dinner and a few rides at MK on our arrival night. Our flight gets in at 4pm, so I'm guesstimating we'll be able to get to MK by 7pm?

Which rides would best work into my plan (if any)? We have two full MK days planned already, so they don't have to be MUST DO rides.. just rides that are great at night.. have shorter wait times at night.. etc.

Thanks for your input DISers!

Nothing better then Space Mountain at night. Riding the roller coast when the sun goes down, just makes it that much more enjoyable.

i have to agree about the Jungle Cruise. We did it at night last April, and it was definetly scary. We liked Aladdin at night and it was really pretty to see all the lights.
