Can anyone please tell me the best rate they have received for a 2 bedroom kidsuite at the Holiday Inn Family Suites hotel? I currently have a senior citizen rate for $120 per night and I would like to know if I can do better than that.

Thanks a bunch.
Mona

We have the "Entertainment Card" rate of $86 per night for a stay in May.... also, you may get better response posting this question on the "Orlando Hotels & Attractions" board... this one is generally for the Disney resorts.

Hi Mona,
The rates will vary depending on when you are traveling. What are the dates of your trip? I have the Entertainment Rate of $102.50 for a kids Kingsuite from 6/18 - 7/1.

Mike

The SC rate for 9/25- 10/02 is $99
reg rate is $114
and NO E card rate for more than one night :( if I put in one night its only $76 a night

We are staying in 2 BR Kidsuite from Spet 24 - 26 with the entertainment rate of $76/night. I booked on line and was able to get both nights at that rate.

woohoo, I finally gave up and called, as when I checked online, I got "no rooms available" for the 7 days, but got the $76 price, no problem when calling, YAYYYY :hyper:

Where are you calling if the Entertainment website is showing up unavailable? Do you call the HIFS directly?

Thanks,
Becky

Yes, call HIFS directly.

We were going to stay at Quaity Suites Maingate East. We have stayed there before and have been happy with it but it doesn't have much to do in terms of activities for kids. My New DH and I will be staying @ BWV for 2 nights and wanted to leave DD(7) with Grandma and DGodD (20 months) with her mommy somewhere they'd be happy since it is after our Disney stay!
We tried to book online but the Entertainment rate was gone.... after I read this, I call directly and got HIFS from May 26-29, 2004 for $89/night!!!
Thanks to you all!!!!
:Pinkbounc :bounce: :wave2:

In case anyone needs the info, I called and got an Entertainment Book rate of $103 for April 23 - 27.

I was able to get the Entertainment Book rate for 89.00 5/23 - 29!

We are SO excited! We've been wanting to go for so long and this time it looks like it's really going to happen!!

Hey, my family will be there 5/23-5/31. We can't wait. Also got the Entertainmnet Rate of $89. It's our first time at HIFS. Hope it is great- and no renovation inconvenience. :bounce: :wave2:

I hope it's great too - I was a little concerned that I could request a "side"... she said the twin suites were all over the property. I'm getting one of the rooms with the 2 twin beds - not the kid's suite... (I've got a 20 and 15 year old - both over 6'2" and BIG)

We can't wait! We'll be the ones with the two "incredible hulks" with us... haha

Pamlet,
We also got a twin bed room but that is because my daughter is diabled. It's easier than trying to get her in and out of a bunkbed.
We will only be there for 3 nights... but are really looking forward to it!
Maybe we'll see you and Cheermom there!

Pamlet,
We are also getting a 2 br suite with twin beds. I think that means the rooms are not "themed". But my kids are 12,15 and need the twin beds. I hope the resort isn't too "young" for them. I requested a quiet room-if there is such a thing!!:hyper:

Sounds like we're in the same boat!!

My older son looked at the themed rooms at first and besides that fact that he's 20 years old... haha ... pointed out that they are youth beds. Besides - my younger son is mildly epileptic, and bunk beds are sort of out for us...

I've been worrying about the property being geared to younger kids, but I've decided that the game room looks pretty cool as do the pools. I am concerned about the renovations.. I have an email off to their customer service group - so if I get any specific dates I'll let y'all know!

I've been exploring off-site places to eat, on the off chance we do leave the parks.. trying to work out food budgets, etc. This is really exciting for me!! :bounce: I'm having a blast w/the planning - but don't want to plan so much we lose the fun of vacation!

I have booked 4 rooms at $89 night for a week in mid-October using the entertainment card. Was told that another person in party will need a card as you can only book 2 rooms per card.

Also the bunks beds are 5 feet long. After booking 4 kidsuites, had to call back and change to 1 with twins. DD12 and her buddy are both over 5'6"! HIFS said they would request twin room be with other kidsuites.

Sounds like a great place! Appreciate all the chat regarding it.

I just booked the first week of December, with the Entertainment rate of $76 for six nights and $89 for the first (right after Thanksgiving). I am very happy with that.
Now I need to find a killer rental car rate and I will have hit a home run. :D :teeth:

I called to get the entertainment rate for Jan. and was told that they would not be offering the entertainment rate anymore after this year. But I did get a AAA rate of $107 a night. I wonder if it has something to do with the renovations? I had heard that prices would be going up. I hope not!!!!!

Mike

Did you check the entertainment coupon book for the car rental coupons? Also, HIFS has a service there at their place (can't remember...Enterprise maybe), call customer service.
