We are going to be going next year and getting the dining plan. I want to take DD6 to a princess meal, preferably lunch or dinner. Originally I thought of CRT because you get the whole castle affect BUT I am reading that there is not a lot of character interaction so I'm not sure that it is worth 2TS. Should I consider a different princess meal?

Just my opinion, but when we went to the Princess breakfast in Norway last Dec. the interaction wasn't that great. It was my DD7 birthday and each princess stopped for maybe 20 seconds at the most. They signed her book and took a quick photo, but not much conversation other that a very quick hello. I personally would not pay for this again. You get much better interaction in the parks and they are very easy to find.

I have been to CRT, Princess Lunch at Norway, and 1900 Park Fair for dinner. If your kids have never been to the castle, then that is the place to go first, IMO.

I would never recommend the Norway meals at all, our experience was terrible. The food was awful and we sat there for at least an hour and two of the 5 Princesses did not come to our table and we had to ask to see them before we left. Well, anyway, right from the start it seems like a very crowded mess.

1900 Park Fair is well worth it IF you've been to the castle I think. It has the best food of any character meal, but I think the castle has good food also. Both are nice, but the castle is more special.

I think CRT is a great meal for you in this case. If this is the 1st time we would think it's a must. The whole package from when you enter the castle to when you leave is great. We had great interaction and even where able to get an extra photo op with 2 of the princesses when we were leaving. I made as late of a reservation as I could and (which was the last) and we were one of the last ones in the place as the princesses were leaving and we jumped at the photo op and got it. Go for it, you'll love it.

Our family loves the Princess Breakfast in Norway. The food is good and the character interaction is great. We have done the CRT breakfast/1900 Park Faire and they were ok. We did the Princess lunch at CRT last August, before the changes (when the characters came around) and thought that was awesome. The new changes don't do much for me.

In the past, Cinderella was always in the lobby when we ate dinner at CRT. Now it just seems like a big price increase for a picture with her, which we always did for free. I really don't need a litho of the Castle. My kids love eating in the Castle, tho. it is a big thing for them.

We've done the Akerhus Princess lunch and 1900 Cinderella Gala. We have not been to CRT. With the new menus and prices, I can't justify CRT. We were not impressed with Akerhus. There was very little interaction with the pricesses. They each stopped at the table for about 30 seconds-just long enough to sign the autograph book and smile for a picture. Also, the resturant was packed and the tables really crammed together. The 1900 Gala was much better. Cinderella stayed and talked with my girls for quite a while. There was much more space at 1900, and it was much more relaxing.
