Best place to watch Wishes and Spectromagic?

We will be at Disney the last week in September and I was wondering were the best places are to watch Wishes and Spectromagic?

To enjoy Wishes, I would say in front of the castle or on the bridge to Tomorrow land. But you would have to line up early. We watched Spectro from accross the street from the Liberty Inn, and then walked over to in front of the castle in the middle near the Walt Disney Statue.

We watched Spectromagic from the Tomorrowland side of the hub in front of the castle.


Somehow the parade coming around the circle seemed like a great view. We also positioned ourselves along a rope barrier which allowed us not to get cramped in on one side.

Then for Wishes, we simply moved over a few yards so we were under Tinkebell's wire. We had a fantastic view of the fireworks and enjoyed tinks flight over our heads.

My favorite spot for Wishes is the walkway between the tip board and Crystal Palace. If you get a spot up at the railing, no one can stand in front of you (there is a down slope) and you have a perfect view of the castle. I like to watch Spectro from Town Square.

I've heard that one of the best places to watch Wishes is on the path in the Rose Garden (thanks Dan-I also heard this on "A Fan's Guide to WDW" TV show). I haven't been lucky enough to try that area yet, but I hope to next time.

Spectrcomagic - Main St. IMO the lighted buildings add a special touch that other places don't have. It makes your pictures look great as well.

Wishes - I prefer a straight on view of the castle since the effects take place on both sides of center. Anything else IMO would be like sitting on the sides of a movie theater. Sure you can see everything, but the center is preferable.
