Best place to watch the MK cavalcades during lunch?

Hi
We are planning on doing quick service lunch at the MK and would love to be able to watch the cavalcades while eating. I know we will most likely need to get up and love a little but would like to maximize our chances of seeing some characters while having lunch (ok if we get interrupted)
I know Casey’s corner could be a good option but it’s so hard to get a table…
Would the outside eating area close to CHH be an option?
Or can we gros QS lunch somewhere and eat « picnic style » on the grass hub?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

In Frontierland there are some flat platforms/planters that people can sit on on the right side of the walkway as you walk from County Bear Jamoboree towards the Haunted Mansion. We have sat there and watched cavalcades multiple times. You could sit there with your food if you get there early enough to grab a spot.

It seems that we see cavalcades every time we eat at Sleepy Hollow. We usually shift a tiny bit so the kids can see them but we’ve been lucky with seats that tend to have a good view straight on.

Even better, if you walk over by the Christmas shop you can eat your corn dog inside the sleigh.
