Best place to sell a Contract

As much as it pains me I am currently looking to sell one of my contracts, I have three at the moment, and am looking for the best place to sell. I have seen the timeshare store, and also DVC resales, does anybody have any suggestions on which broker I should go with?

Good luck..I had mine listed with the Timesharestore for a while but changed my mind. They charge 10%..or did at that time.

We have sold 4 contracts with TSS.

Information I've received in the past is that TTS sells about 80% or so of all the DVC resales. That means all the other resellers combined sell the remaining 20%.

TTS is a B&M business. I know some of the other resellers just have agents who work out of their house.

We used Shontell at DVCbyresale to sell our Vero contract earlier this year and she did a great job for us.

Thanks for the information. This wasn't something I wanted to do, bt it won't be all of my points, so I can still enjoy the vacation club. The way I look at it I can buy more at a later time when times are a little better.

I have both bought and sold through them and so has many others on disboards.

IMO, it depends on the size of the contract and home resort. For smaller and more in demand resorts you'll likely get more money selling it on your own and can likely do so fairly easily. Most of the major players do non exclusive contracts which means if you find the buyer, you do not owe them a commission.
