I have a couple of old mobile phones that I'd like to recycle. I've never done this before, so can anyone recommend who I should send them to, please? I'm trying every way to add to my WDW fund!

If you go on the Martin Lewis (I think that is his name!), the guy from GMTV who advises on saving money then there is a link which takes you to a site which is a comparison site, you put your phones info in and it tells you where you will get the most cash. :goodvibes

Thanks - I'll check that out.:thumbsup2

I have used Mazuma mobile, I collected all the mobile phones around the house - some were in the toy box that the girls just played with along with their toy phones:rolleyes:

They give you an individual price for each one - it offers you one price for Argos vouchers and one price for cash - I took the slightly lesser cash value.

A couple of them were only worth about a fiver each but one was worth £45:cool1: They will also email you the instructions on how to remove all your data from the particular model of phone before you send it to them. They do not want any of the chargers, just the phone and battery.

I found it a quick and easy transaction that made me about £70 from a few old mobiles hanging around :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Mazuma Mobiles were excellent. I posted my mobiles to them in the prepaid envelope on a Monday at 4.30pm, on the Tuesday I had an email from them to say they'd received the phones and on the Wednesday the cheque arrived.:thumbsup2

Im actually mid transaction, so to speak, with Love2Recycle as they've just received the phone.

Will let you know the outcome when its all done :)

I went with fonebank and put my cheque for £20 in the bank today! More Disney $$$$$.:goodvibes

If you're not looking for cash there are also a lot of charities that collect phones and they then receive the donations.

I always use www.cex.co.uk - they're on the high street too. When I've checked my phones to sell them, places like mazuma were generally offering about £5 but cex gave me over £30 both times.

Another vote for CEX from me. They seem to be offering the most cash for my current phone and you can deal direct in-store with them :)

Never thought about taking my old mobiles to CEX. They are offering a lot more for the phones than anywhere else - good that i can do it instore too rather than by post!
