best place to park

We are going 3 days in early January and will probably spend most of our time at magic kingdom or epcot, but may go to mgm one night or visit animal kingdom. The question is, since we are staying offsite, where is the best
central location to park. I was thinking epcot, since we can grab the monorail as well as the buses there, and its close to everything but MK.

Any better suggestions? Also, is it true that parking is free 2 hours before the parks close, so we can move our car for any shows?

If you pay for parking once you can just show your receipt at the other parks. So no need to keep your car parked in one location to avoid any extra charges.
