Best Place to Eat Off Property??

Captain Kidd's is known for being (and has been voted) THE worst restaurant in Orange County. The reviewer who gave them that name found numerous health hazards, e.g. no food supervision (anyone could tamper with the food if they wanted), unsafe food temps (he tested with a digital food thermometer), flies on the food, etc. It's called Captain Krudd's for a reason. This is the first positive review of that place I have ever seen in many years of reading these boards. Glad the previous poster had a good time and no negative after effects, but I wouldn't risk my health by eating there.

To the OP: if your husband likes craft beers, and since you'll have a car, you might enjoy a visit to The Bruery in Placentia (about 15-20 minutes from the parks). Their selection of craft beers is well respected.
