By best, I mean with low crowds. Main Street was always packed for Fireworks before. Our favorite place was in Fantasyland-we'd get ice cream at Mrs. Potts, then sit on a bench to watch the Fireworks. I heard that Fantasyland is no longer a good spot-is that true? If not, where? Like I said, ideally I'm looking for a place to sit, not surrounded by mobs of people.

I watched from where the sky ride used to be and saw them perfectly!

For Wishes I have heard anywhere on Main Street, the Town Square area and Train Station deck as the best. Being back a distance has been said to give the best overall view as the scope of Wishes is quite large.

Main St. is the best!! Our first time we tried to view Wishes from the bridge from Tomorrowland and it was HORRIBLE! The trees have gotten sooooo big, we couldn't see the castle and the fireworks were shooting over to the right, so we had to choose to see the fireworks or the castle because of the trees.
Next night we staked out a spot in the middle of Main Street and it was BEAUTIFUL !! Can't be beat from this view point!

We were there on 10/15, pretty crowded (80 min for SM) during the day. A CM from spash mountain suggested on the cut-through bridge to take you over to BTMR. There is an opening of trees as you look right at the castle and on the other side of the bridge is where sm logs curve around at the end of the ride. It was nice cuz there were about a dozen people there, but watch out for those mosqitoes cuz you're right by water.
