Soundsational is not like the play parade. I suggest viewing it on a corner, rather from the side. From the side would be allow mainstreet and most parts of the parade route.
Where it makes the turn into the Hub, around the corners in Town Square or from the west side of Small World Plaza(by the food carts) let you see it coming at you and watch it go by.
On Main Street, on the right hand side if you are walking from entrance towards hub, there are wooden seats on a small patio between shops. It is closer to the end of Main street so keep looking right as you walk and you will see them. One 2 seater and 2 one seater's. People like to sit there while parade goes by so stake them out early if you do
You do not want to be at one of the spots where the speakers overlap. The nature of the music is just off enough that it isn't a smooth transition like the others.
You do NOT want to be at the hub between the Hub and the end of the Main Street buildings. The sound here is very chaotic. Small world and by the side of the Matterhorn and Alice are some of the best spots.

We saw it at a turn in the hub standing on Main Street in front of the castle - and it was a good spot.
Also, if it is warm out then the west side of Main Street is in the shade while the east side (the Tomorrowland side) is not. So you get the sun in your eyes in addition to being roasted on a hot day.
We have seen Soundsational twice - both onthe west side with the sun at our back.
