Best Moderate for transportation?

I am just curious to hear some people's opinions about this issue. We are getting ready to book 3 rooms at a moderate for our trip in December, and one of the things my entire party is curious about is how the trans will work from hotel to park and back? We will have a compact rental and a mini-van, however with 10 people going, some people are going to want to travel back and forth during different times of the day.

So my question is, in your opinion, which of the mod resorts offers the easiest and most convenient transportation?

I was just looking at Google Earth, and it looks like make the CSR is the most centrally located of the four mods? Is that a myth or is it easier to transfer around from there?

I would say CSR. But we had good transport at CBR too. POR shares with POFQ but you also have the optioin of taking the riverboat to DD

CSR!! It's not shared like POR/POFQ and it only has 4 internal stops vs 7 at CBR. CSR is centrally located with 5 min rides to AK and MGM, 7 mins to Epcot and 10 to MK.

We've always had good transporation at CBR, and we use it the entire time we are at Disney.

I've stayed at POR and CBR. I enjoyed CBR, but the one thing that I did not like was the transportation. The bus ride just getting out of the resort took a long time. When I stayed at POR, we were close to the stop by the main building, and I don't recall feeling like the loop was quite so time consuming.

CSR does not share a bus with any other resort.

Thank you all! this has helped us narrow it down, we think CSR will be the best moderate for our family...of course now we have a couple of party members who want to consider staying at the Swan/Dolphin instead. Any thoughts on the transportation there?

I would have to agree with the people that say CSR. I thought that was the quickest and easiest of the moderates. I am not sure about the Dolphin or the Swan but the good thing with this is you can walk to EPCOT.

In our opinion all of the moderates have the same transportation set up. They are all large and they all have multiple internal stops before heading to their final destanation.

POR and POFQ do have the boat option to DTD that the others do not but other than that the transportation set up is the same.

CSR has some of the best transportation of any resort, not just the mods.
