Can Anyone Tell Me The Best Locations To View The Various Fireworks? I Have A 2yr Old And A 5 Yr Old. I Don't Think The 2 Yr Old Would Like The Loud Noise.

For the Magic Kingdom fireworks, if you head facing the castle and take a right at Casey's, follow the path towards tomorrow land, as soon as you get past the area where the resturant is, but before you to get to tommorow land there is a bench, that is the perfect spot. Plus, you will get an upclose look at Tinkerbelle. However, if you think the noise will be too much for the kids you should try either the Comtemporary or Poly Hotels.

If you don't want be be near the NOISE, don't see IllumiNations or Fantasmic!

I personally can't imagine a trip to WDW being complete without seeing Wishes, IllumiNations, and Fantasmic!, but if you think the children will be frightened by the noise... stay away from (at least) the latter two shows.

As was said, you can go to the beach at the Poly and view Wishes, but be aware that (even though you will be about a mile away, across the lake) the booms can still be heard (just not quite as pronounced).
Sound travels very well over water.

Illuminations - Exit Epcot through the back entrance (International Gateway) and go out onto the Boardwalk. Stand onto one of the two bridges and enjoy. You can hear the music and most of the fireworks. But Illuminations isn't all fireworks, so you'll be missing a lot. The fireworks are still loud here, but there are a lot more things to look at and keep your kids distracted.

Wishes - Go to the Polynesian Resort and watch from the beaches there. I've never watched from there, but I would guess the fireworks are still loud. But you can see everything.

Fantasmic - There's really no place to watch other than at the ampitheater in the park. You can hear the music from the back part of the Boardwalk, but you can't see anything

The last time we were at MK we watched the Spectromagic parade & Wishes fireworks from balcony at main street station. If you get there early you will be able to get right in the middle and see right up main street to the castle :cool1: . There is tables and chairs there, some people pulled them close to the rail (gives you more space and kids can sit on table for better view) .
