In Feb I just used plain little envelopes and put fun stickers on them. They don't care, as long as it says Mousekeeping on it. I wouldn't have bothered this time, if I didn't have such a compulsive need to do something, plan something, arrange something for this trip. I need the ticker to go down faster because I just can't wait to go! Usually by now I am all packed and ready to go, but usually I am packing summer clothes in the middle of winter....this time I need everything I am packing, so I have to wait until last minute

That's exactly what I did. Plain envelope. Wrote: Thank you Mousekeeping!! on all of them. That way, they'd know it was for them.

Thanks so much for the inspiration! My daughter was teaching me how to do a power point last year. haha You inspired me to do my first real power point for our upcoming trip in August. Haven't showed the family yet as I keep changing it. I am getting some DISigns to put on it. I will show you when I'm finished.

We did make reservations for my daughter... Then my friend and i were really in the Disney mood and wanted ours done too. It was a little wait for us but nothing terrible.. My suggestion is to get there at opening!
My Daughter's pixi dust was mostly out of her hair by noon with the rides.. the people sitting behind us must have hated us!!! Her hair came out without a problem in the shower. I went outside and brushed most of it out. ouch.. Looked like poor Tink had the flu outside our door!!! Pixi dust EVERYWHERE!!! Showering it came out with a little scrubbing. I had a lot in there they had to use a lot of hairspray too?? (I have very thick hair) Felt bad for POR plumbers... they warn you about the color may dye your hair. that was not a problem with us...

I hope all is well? did he get out today?

He is coming home this afternoon! They still can't figure out what the spots on his kidney are, but they know they are not malignant, so they are releasing him today. After many tests and bloodwork, they feel he is safe enough to come home. We are just supposed to watch him closely for a bit.

I can't wait! It is finally starting to get hot here now and I am loving it. Normally I hate the heat, but this year it is just getting me more excited about Disney! Dani is getting pretty excited now too. I was kinda upset because she didn't seem very excited, but now I realize she was just so overwhelmed with graduation and getting a summer job. Her sister took her to Boston to see a Cirque show last weekend and that was the last big thing she had planned before the trip. So now she can focus her excitement where it should be....DISNEY!

So this is what I did this weekend:

My Nana turned 80 this weekend and we all got together. It was like a mini family reunion with all the cousins and Uncles/Aunts. We had a gorgeous day and just about everyone showed up (there were 7 cousins missing). Nana was so surprised and so happy. My Uncle and Aunt flew in from Hawaii to surprise her! It was a great day. I love my family! This is not the side of the family that has Dani in it, so it really has nothing to do with this PTR, but it was just such a great day, I had to share it with you! I'm over on the left next to the lady in the red shirt with the little baby. Bradey is standing in front of me

We held this big party at my house because I was centrally located and have a big lawn. It was alot of work, but well worth it when we saw how happy Nana was. We had just this group of "immediate family" there for a BBQ first, then all her friends and extended family were supposed to drop in from 2-4 for cake. At one point we had almost 100 people there. We counted 97! But the clean up went well and my lawn is back to normal this morning

My Squishy Bag! Isn't D~ amazing?! I love it and I cannot wait to get it and try it on and see it in person

I know you all have been waiting a while for this bag... Some of you more anxiously than others...

I've had this pattern drawn up in great detail for months now. I had only planned on building the prototype this week, but when Suzi announced her trip, I really wanted to get this bag done in time for her. Since I am so busy, the only way to do that was to build my prototype and Suzi's bag as one in the same.

I am super duper amazingly happy with how this bag turned out. Considering that this bag is made from my pattern, and I have never made it before - not even a super simple one just to make sure - I couldn't be more pleased with it!

Now, I know that I said I was planning on doing a "drawstring backpack"... Technically - this is not. It is a backpack, it does have a drawstring, but I needed to modify it for park touring... So, I decided to do adjustable quilted straps. Not only that, but since the backpack will be hanging off (none other than) your back, I decided to hide the front zipper pocket.

Anyways... What you've all been waiting for...

V was kind enough to model for me - I asked her to make the backpack tight on her shoulders - that's why it looks a little awkward.

Thanks Liddy I'm planning on having her read this thread along with a couple others the night before we leave. She is going to spend the night here (or we will stay in a hotel closer to the airport) so she doesn't have to get up so early the morning of. I am hoping we will get to browse the DIS so she can see some good pictures of what is to come.
