:flower3: Welcome! :flower3:

The more the merrier! There is kind of a lull in the report right now because I feel like my plans are pretty solid at this point. I'm sure things will pick up some as it gets closer. I've been playing around with my new Android phone. I have yet to download any apps that aren't Disney....but I'm getting to know the Disney apps quite well

Boy, I really need to steer clear of the other threads on here. Everytime I veer from the TR/PTR threads I get slammed! But I am good at this e-controversy thing :thumbsup2

I like to fight when they can't see me :lmao:

Seriously....some girl posted a question something like "Does anyone else have to charge their vacations sometimes?" Ummm....yeah, that would be me. My credit card companies love me. Well, boy there are some pretty rich people on the DIS because I got SLAMMED for agreeing with her and trying to make her feel better about it. So I don't have piles of extra money laying around. So I have to put some Disney money on a credit card. I have a 750 credit score. I make all my payments on time and in full. Come walk a mile in my shoes, then you can judge me. Oy! My head is now gone because it was just bitten off!

I like you nice TR people....I think I will stay over here where I feel safe :) Thank goodness I only have "Maine" instead of my town in Maine on my profile, otherwise I would be afraid those chicks would come burn my house down :rotfl: Aww....come on, don't they have a boxing glove smiley??

Yeah ... I've seen some really lame arguments on here .. I steer clear of that nonsense !

I love Maine !! I just booked a trip there ! Can't wait.

Awesome! Where are you visiting in Maine? We have some really great vacation spots. I've travelled all over the world and still one of my favorite places anywhere is right here at home, Acadia National Park. So beautiful

We're staying in the Ogunquit/Wells area. I love the little villages and shops.
We're going over the July 4th weekend. :cool1:

Cool, thats only about an hour from me! Of course everything in Southern Maine is about an hour from me :) Yikes Wells on 4th of July :scared1: You're braver than I am :rotfl2: Have a great time!

Well we have a house with a pool and so I plan on just staying put and having a BBQ that day ! then if we want to get around town, we use the trolly system. The kids LOVE it .. They call it the "Charlie" ! :rotfl2:
Besides I'm a Disney junkie .. Crowds don't scare me !! :rotfl:

Sounds like a great weekend. If you get bored and want to head out into the country....give me a shout :)

I have learned over the years that there are some threads that it is just best to avoid. ::yes::::yes::::yes::

Okay, Disney question for all of you....

When we were there in Feb at the Poly, the last morning they delivered the dreaded checkout papers to the room. In this they included my boarding passes for our flight home. Is this something they do all the time? We are flying Southwest again. The last time I paid extra for the Early Bird Boarding, and this time I did not. Last time I had my little guy so I wanted to make sure we could sit together. This time with just Dani, I am sure we can find two seats together and if not....its not the end of the world.

Just wondering if they check you in all the time or if I have to go to the concierge desk 24 hours before flight time to check in. I want to get a decent boarding number with SW.

I totally agree!!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Sorry I don't know the answer to your flight question. I've NEVER flown ... so I wouldn't know. But most of these wonderful people fly, and I know they'll get your question answered soon! :goodvibes

We did the 24HR check in with SW. it all worked out perfect too.

You mean you went to the concierge and had them do it? Or they did it automatically and brought the boarding pass to your room on departure morning? I guess it really doesn't matter. Our departure flight leaves at 7:30 pm, so I can certainly go to the desk and have them do it with me at 7:30 the night before. At least it isn't early morning or mid-day. But I was just wondering.

Our airline departure information and boarding passes were brought to our room the last time we flew. I don't remember the times before that since it was so long ago.

I know....D~ told me this and I didn't listen. Bad Suzi :duck:

ACK!!! You got it again... You poor girl... Yes, don't venture too far on The Dis...

OK - well I flew a non-participating airline (Sun Country), and they had our check out papers on our door the day before check out. When the girls and I cleared our room, and brought our luggage down to hold for the day, I stopped by the Concierge (before we actually checked out - because I wasn't sure if they would do it after) and asked him to print our our boarding passes... I just had to give him my info, and he was able to access it and print it for me. Easy peasy. Then we physically checked out of our room - FYI - it was 10:55am  A little too close for my comfort - but it worked out. So, that's how we did it with a non participating airline.

There might even be more answers to your questions on the last fewl pages of my PTR - since I was asking a lot of specific questions the last day or two of our trip, trying to get it all figured out - I got a lot of great advice. :thumbsup2

How is Molly doing? Is she happy to be home?

D~

Thanks. I'm sure we will figure it out :)

Thanks D, I will head over to your PTR and see. Its not that big a deal. I know I can check in at Southwest on my phone, but can't print the boarding passes. I have never checked in without printing them. Not sure if it will save our place in line without printing them. But if we are around the resort that evening I will check in at concierge. I'm sure they will help me.

And Molly is doing great. She isn't limping anymore and she is so much more cuddly than she was before. I think she really missed us and realized how good she has it at home :)

Happy Memorial Weekend everyone!!!!!!

No.. We called off our cell phones 24 hrs before the flight. once we got to the airport we were all good to go, Yes a later flight is awesome. Were were out in a park when we called, had all our information on us.
I was unhappy about leave Disney. but like you had a later flight. i LOVED flying at night and seeing Chicago from a perspective i have never seen!!!

Oh, I have the Southwest app on my phone. I can just check-in on that, but I can't print the boarding passes. Do you just pick them up at the airport? Or if you check in over the phone, will Disney get the boarding passes and deliver them? This whole SmartPhone thing is new to me. I am still trying to figure out all the neat things I can do with it :)
