anyone willing to share their opinions on which is the best restaurant or meal at DTD? I'm a picky eater and am trying to decide where to make reservations for our first night's meal! Please share as much as you like! Thanks for everything! :thumbsup2

I would have to say that Raglan road would have my choice loved it when we were there last year. The food and the entertainment were both great in my opinion and hey anyplace that I can get a Magners is always a good place. :thumbsup2

We like the House of Blues and Portobello Yacht Club. Kind of depends on what kind of food you are in the mood for.

I too would recommend the House of Blues. And if you have time, walk across the street and see the Circus. (Just be sure to get your tickets ahead of time.) Wonderful evening there.

Almost forgot ... you asked for favorite dish too. At the House of Blues I like the Shrimp Po Boy.

Enjoy.

I'm with the other 2 posters. House of Blues is my favorite and I love the steak there. Surprisingly yummy.

And as Karnak said be sure to try to catch Cirque du Soleil. Dh and love these shows and have seen them all across the country. Its fun, inviting, comedic, mysterious and tantalizing.

Either way, I hope you enjoy your trip!

I am sure I will be in the minority, but we really enjoyed our meal at Planet Hollywood. Everything was delicious. I also like RFC, although both of these places seem to get mixed reviews. :)

Another House of Blues vote-ask to sit outside on the patio-it's very relaxing and a great view-I've only had a salad with grilled chicked there, but alot of things on the menu looked good.

I agree with the House Of Blues being a good choice. I thought that the jambalaya was very good. Watch out for that whole habanero pepper on the top that it is garnished with.

When you say you're a 'picky' eater: What will you eat? What do you refuse to touch? What might you try if enough people recommend it? I mean, you could probably eat anywhere - pretty much everyplace has burgers, steak, chicken, maybe pasta, maybe pizza...

I have a condition called oral textural disfuntion whihc limits the textures I can stand to have in my mouth (LOL...I always get embarassed explaining this!). Anything grainy or slimy or...ugh! I don't eat any whole fruits or vegetables....very little meat (hot dogs, burgers only with cheese and ketchup, chicken fingers, bacon), pasta but only with plain tomato sauces (no chunks such as onions, mushrooms, etc.) or alfredo sauce with no herbs in it , pizza only with just cheese, no nuts (I'm allergic), nothing with pulp, no seafood....see what I mean?!
I'm a chicken fingers and fries girl!! (but only if the fries have no spice or skin on them!) Please help me!!! I'm a gonner at most restaurants! :guilty:

My family and I really enjoy Rainforest Cafe. My favorite dish is the Magambo shrimp and my husband really likes the Mojo bones. :)

I think that the best restaurant at DTD is Wolfgang Puck Express. The food is AWESOME and it's inexpensive as well! I love the BBQ chicken quesadilla there. Yummy! Another thing that I like is the cornbread with maple butter at House of Blues..........if anyone hasn't tried this, it's a must do! :goodvibes

Since we live in Chicago & have easy access to Rainforest, Planet Hollywood & House of Blues, we have never eaten at those while in WDW. Our favorite, hands down, is Fulton's. The seafood is flown in fresh everyday (notice the packing slips which they post at the main entrance) and it is always wonderful. The best dish...Alaskan King Crab Claws...they are so easy to eat (I hate working too hard on crab) and it's melt-in-your-mouth delicious every time!

YUM! :teeth:

Ok, our favorites are HOB for a sit down and EOS for a quickie meal.

My favorite is the Portobello Yacht Club. I had the best steak ever there. (It was even better than Yachtsman)
