Best Disneyland resort restaurants?

Hello,

Taking DH to Disneyland next weekend, he hasn't been there in FOREVER.

My favorite restaurant is Blue Bayou, but we haven't eaten at any of the new CA restaurants, and only at House of Blues in Downtown Disney. Does anyone have any other restaurant recommendations? Thanks!

In DTD our favorites are RainForest Cafe and Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, I'll be taking DBF to both on our January trip. :) In DL our fave is the BB too, in DCA we haven't eaten at the "fancy" places, only at Corn Dog Castle, Taste Pilots Grill and Ariel's Grotto. They are all good but if you should check the menus for Storytellers, Yamabuki (I'm also going to try to take him there), Steakhouse 55, Wine Country Trattatoria to see if you might want to eat there too. :)

Our favorite DL restaurant is Storytellers. We've been to the character breakfast 3 times and had a wonderful experience each time.

If you're looking for very fancy (and therefore very expensive  ) Napa Rose in the GC Hotel is the nicest restaurant in the resort. I recommend requesting the chef's counter; the chefs will introduce themselves and tell you about the kitchen and about the food... see page 5 of my trip report, below... Also, check out the sticky thread at the top of this forum; it has lots of pictures and commentary on places to eat in DL! Here's a link to post 884 with some Napa Rose pics... later pages are more recent. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1253888&page=59

Hope that helps! :)

Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen was fantastic. Who would think that crawfish mashed potatoes would be that good? And lots of wonderful libations just topped it off.

We ate at Naples in DTD and it was very good...

Character dining we did Lilo n Stitch at PP and it was ok.. but for dinner we ate at Goofy's Kitchen and man the food was wonderful and the character interaction was top notch! Would pay just for that!

I concur with avalon451...Napa Rose is hands down the best restaurant experience in DLR

I know this is a big favorite, but we did not care for it, nor did anyone in our 14 person party. Some of our group tried it a second time a year later and still did not care for it. I'd check the menu to see if it's something you'd like.
